Exactly, Exactly. If you're local anyway and don't mind waiting in line a while, there's no reason to skip. The wild eyed people with the full shopping carts don't want scarce beer, though they may kill you if you take the last fresh arugula or artisan bread.

 

Dominion has Lost Rhino Dark Day growlers for $21.99 (64 oz). Damn good deal and I thought the beer is an excellent BA stout. It's a bourbon bomb, so if that's not your thing it may be too overwhelming. I think it's their best beer they have ever made.

I mean okay then, give me a call when their beer isn't overpriced and doesn't taste like shit. The taste of their beer literally made a brewer vomit at a Mad Fox event.

Saw Xocoveza Charred at MOMs in Arlington. They still have Heir Apparent too and BA Old Rasputin. Surprisingly calm shopping experience, too. No lines and really well stocked in the beer section.

FML, just seeing this now. Think going there in an hour or so would be quite the suicide mission

 

They clearly do not focus on the typical West-coast IPA. I'm not trying to be contrarian, I'm just saying don't go to Adroit Theory if you're looking for an IPA. Breweries aren't judged solely by their ability to crank out IPAs.

Ah, yes, well that is a different criticism. I can say I have had a couple of beers from them I thought were phenomenal, having only tried a few. The atrocious price point would be the cause of that.

 

Any Wings left in Nova? the usual spots seem to have all sold out.

Saw you or someone mention that they had Heir Apparent and I popped in yesterday. Now I'm really siked if/when I move in there.

 

Calvert Woodley had some Abyss, and wasn't that crowded except the food counter.
