Yes, a highly crushable brew that hasn't been canned in 3 months, is only available to purchase at the brewery, and sells out in the same day. Who writes this garbage?

I can't wait for the article about Super Bowl snacks that includes imported kobe sliders with white stilton gold cheese and shaved white winter truffles.

That is one serious list, I'm glad there's someone over there paying attention to breweries like OT, TH, and Modern Times.

It should have been titled "Cool Beers I Like to Brag I've Had that 99% of the People Reading this Article Will Have No Opportunity to Acquire Before the Super Bowl... with Some Added Football Anecdotes"

"Saturday Jan 30th we will be celebrating our 2nd Anniversary. To celebrate we are doing a triple can release. We will have our 2nd Anniversary Imperial IPA, this is one of the hoppiest fruit bomb's we've made to date with Citra, Galaxy, Wai-iti and Kohatu hops clocking in at 9%, three 4 packs per person $20 per 4 pack. We will also have our collaboration with the ever awesome @burialbeer Diamond Mausoleum, a cascadian dark ale that is aggressively hopped with Centennial, Amarillo and Waimea and is 7.5%. This is limited, so only two 4 packs per person $16 per 4 pack. And last but not least, Hop Showers with Amarillo, ahtanum, and citra. 1 case per person $16 per 4 pack. We will once again be handing out bracelets so everyone knows where they stand when it comes to getting beer. Thanks! Credit for the illustration on the Diamond Mausoleum can @davidpaulseymour. Credit for art on our 2nd Anniversary IIPA @dayolddonutsand as usual awesome design by@smallstuffnyc "

The fact that Other Half is calling it "one of the hoppiest fruit bomb's we've made to date" is going to bring out the crowds again. Hoping its like Oat Overdose and it lasts all day so I dont have to be there early.

Keep in mind that Saturday will be their 2nd Anniv event. The tap room will be slammed all day. Last year there was no release and there was a line to get in.

Drinking a growler of Oat Overdose right now. Pretty damn tasty beer. However, I don't think I would have waited 4 hours on a line to get 2 4-packs.

Midnight Showers however, to me, is a game-changer for Black IPAs.

Edit: Let me clarify, I DEFINITELY would not have waited 4 hours for 2 4-packs. I'm not saying its a bad beer because it definitely isn't, but no way is this beer worth waiting in hours long line for 8 cans (or 16 for that fact).

welp no need to change my av!

Think I might be skipping the 2nd anniversary release or at least showing up around 1-2.

Keep doing whatever you guys are doing - kept the Nats from getting hamstrung with another bad contract!

Back on track though, if I'm in town next weekend I'll definitely be at this release. The real question is when to show up, which might depend on weather and what the early lines look like. Limits are up over last week, which makes me think they are either expecting a lower turnout, making more beer, or want to get through the allocations of the one-off stuff with the initial line rather than having it spill over into late afternoon/the next day. Should be interesting to see how this turnout compares to last week. On the one hand, the collab isn't with a popular brewery within driving distance, but on the other hand the anniversary beer looks awesome and will probably be a big draw.

Sounds like there won't be a good time to show up at all that day unfortunately. Three can release featuring a new beer plus their anniversary seems like a recipe for crazy day.
