I don't know how rare we are, but for me at least life is too short to drink BMC. If offered the choice between a macro and water, it's an easy choice to take the calorie-free water. I'll spend my 96 calories elsewhere! :grinning:

And no, I don't think this makes me a snob as long as I politely keep my opinions to myself. When not on BA, of course.

This - there is so much amazing beer that can be enjoyed at reasonable prices. I will also drink wine, cocktails, scotch, etc. if there isn't good beer to be had.

Exactly this...just not worth it. I'm too old and fat to drink alcohol just for the sake of drinking alcohol.

Was really into trading, releases, and ticking for a good while... went over 2,000 unique beers in three years. Lately, I might average 1-2 new unique check-ins a month as I mostly buy what I know I like. I'm just tired of losing out on trying new ones at this point. Oh, and I'm drinking a fair amount of Rolling Rock, so... I guess I'm regressing.

Craft Beer about 90% of the time with Cider, wine, and spirits taking up the rest and I go to releases but I don't kill myself to do so it helps that I live where I live and work at a restaurant/bar anyways with a huge discount on our exclusively VT tap list/cans of Heady/Focal/cider. Doesn't suck.

Explanation; I like Tasty Beer. Yet I also like Beers in all styles (including AAL, Light Lagers and Malt Liquor) so some of my money does go to Big Macro Brewers. I also like Spirits and Long Walks on the Beach.

I voted other. I'm split three ways. I drink craft beer 99% of the time when drinking beer. But I do love dry reds at any time. My wife is a wine drinker. And I really love a good scotch and/or bourbon. Alcohol consumes me.

I voted other, the majority of my drinking is craft beer. However I do drink the occasional macro, and also enjoy bourbon, scotch, cider and mead from time to time. For whatever reason, I've never been able to get into wine. Maybe one of these days.

Drink about 70%-80% craft beer and the rest non-craft. In addition, a healthy dose of booze (vodka, whiskey, scotch, cognac, gin, etc.)

I exclusively drink craft beer. I don't trade or travel too far to get beer or wait in line for releases, but I check the stores for something limited when I know it's out. Since I'm unable to buy a lot of good local beer in stores I'm willing to take a trip to the brewery and buy some product there and maybe try something on tap that isn't available elsewhere. If I'm out with others rarely I'll get a different drink, but not if there is good craft beer on the menu. I've only been drinking craft beer for over a year, give or take on the quality and definition of craft, but nowadays I'd pass up almost any commercial beer for water or a different drink.

Voted other. I drink craft 95% of the time & will travel for releases. However, if I'm at a tailgate or party I will definetly drink whatever's cleaver.

I like all kinds of beer but prefer craft but I don't go out of my way for it. Went to one release, tapping of a keg of 120 Minute about 10 years ago and I don't plan on going to anymore anytime soon and have not done any trading.

Some days it is a nice bottle of wine or a vodka martini, a sombrero, port wine.

If craft beer includes imports, that is where I'm at. More Germans and Belgians lately than anything.

Very little wine, even less hard liquor, no soda, very little coffee. Just a few Macros per year.

My ongoing grownup beverage education includes craft/micro/nano, macro, and homebrews; wines; spirits; ciders, and a few oddballs in between. But at any given time I tend to focus about 90% on one "subject." Current semester is a return to the first category.

Chose 'split time between craft beer and spirits'.

I also like whiskey and bourbon, but that is a fairly recent development. Over the last 25 some odd years it has pretty much been craft beer, when my job allowed it. Recently was on a 2 year involuntary hiatus from craft beer, but that has come to an end and am getting back into it slowly.

2 year old, + too much work, + not enough money = still love craft, can't bother with releases, only trade with neighbors. (And by trade, I mean share.)
