Key Food on Fulton Street way downtown Manhattan had some regular bottles last week also. Carmine Street has 2014 regular on tap at their growler station as of yesterday (1/21) evening.

Anyone know of any place in NNJ/Jersey Shore that has any bottles remaining?

I honestly think that based on everything I've read, pretty much all BW and Coffee is infected. I'm not sure it matters where you bought, but it might matter how you store. If you threw it in the fridge right away it's much less likely to be showing signs of infection. I could be wrong though.

Just cracked my BCBCS for snow day beer #1 hoping for the best, but it's definitely infected. Purchased from Malt and Mold on 2nd Ave. At least I got to taste an uninfected version on tap.

Just cracked open my BCBCS from WF Midtown East. Infected. Knew something was off when I opened my first bottle months ago but thought it was just the flavor profile.

Just opened my last bottle of BCBBW and it is awful. Really not much in the way of "sour" but just a terrible off-flavor that coats the mouth. It made me gag after the first sip. Such a god damn bummer as the Barleywine is my favorite of the variants and my first bottle was stellar. I'm trying to get through the 6 oz I poured into my cup but I doubt I'll make it.

I couldn't get past the first sip...it was more sour than the sour I just drank
If yours was as bad as mine...may God have mercy on you
I videoed the drain pour...sent it to some friends who were horrified
    Backing up my KBS w/ a 14 regular...going big for the storm..I don't know what's after that

Kept mine in the fridge so probably slowed down any ... degradation. It's actually better as it warms up strangely.

Agree with you... the BW was horrible. Coffee not so bad but I still had to pour it out.

has there been any info as to what caused the infection with bcbbw or bcbcs? Was thinking with bcbcs maybe it was the coffee beans but as bcbbw is also infected leads me to believe it was something that happened at GI

Friday night I cracked the first of my 2 BCBBWs (both bottled 10/28) purchased at WF Chelsea end of November. It had only been refrigerated for the past week or so. Hoped I'd get lucky and not have an infected bottle. No such luck. :slight_frown: It wasn't undrinkable – I didn't have to force myself to finish the small snifter I poured. But there was a noticeable cherry cough syrup quality and a mild tartness on the palate. There was also a sporadic, subtle cheesy aroma on the nose. Drain poured the rest. Painful. Expect the same fate for the other bottle, but will take a sip just in case. Calling 1-800-GooseMe tomorrow.
