I see this all over at over $25, it's on shelves and exposed to light. Do you think bottles on back of the shelves would be ok?

So was this beer brewed and bottles in 2013 and been sitting on shelves since?

No, I think the 2013 is the vintage of Old Stock that was aged in bourbon bbls. The release was likely in late 2014 or earlier 2015.

It was released in 2015. All the Cellar Reserve series come out two years after the vintage. They alternate bourbon and brandy barrels too. 2013 is an incredible beer, but the 2009 absolutely blows it away. It's easily the best beer I've ever had in my life.

The 2013 Cellar Stock I had in 2015 was easily one of the best beers I've ever had. I would hoard any bottles I could find. It was spectacular.

I had this 2013 recently (Christmas present) and it was just purchased in December, and it was awesome! Is it worth $25? Hard to say, but since it was a present, I did't have to make that call and I loved it.

Ok so I shall buy more! Might trade a few as well. Wondering how large the disro is for NC.

Awesome beer, if you can afford a $25 pint of beer then this is one of the best options. Only lame part is its only a glass and a half and not really an ideal amount for 2 or 3 people.

Its awesome fresh and these have great aging potential as well, though the normal vintage old stocks are going to be more economical for aging experiments.

Haven't had my 2013 yet & did not enjoy 2011 but I'm not a Brandy guy but 2009 may be the best beer that I've ever drank. I had it a couple of years ago so maybe my palate has changed but luckily I have another 2009 to bust open at some point

Local liquor store has an 2009 in an opaque kacky bottle. So was this 2011? Might get it, it's sat below the counter he said. Might to a old stock tasting! Got 2004,05,07 then the CR OS 11,15.

Why do 2 or 3 people need to be involved? It's one beer, you don't share it.
