Lol I feel like a little kid on Christmas waiting for my parents to get up so I can see what Santa got me!

 

Per facebook, There's already 10 people in line, and they haven't even announced the can yet.

 

Seriously? If it is something like rare and what not it'll more then likely be a 4 can limit, is that worth the 3 hour wait in this weather??

 

I don't entirely understand this. Why would someone show up 3 hours before open when the existing beers aren't close to selling out? They could easily show up at open and still get the full allotment.

 

Honestly, if I was there to get growlers I'd want to be the first 20-30 people otherwise you're waiting a minimum of an hour.

 

But apparently to be in the first 20-30 people you need to show up hours in advance of open. So you're still waiting hours...

 

First 50 growler cards were done in about 25 minutes last night.

 

DOPPELGANGER (American Double IPA - 8.2% ABV) - This beer is an imperial version of Alter Ego. Loving that they're restricting growler fills for Saturday...showing some love for the folks who can't make it during the week

 

It's officially a hop sausage fest. We should throw a token stout in there, just for diversity's sake.

So glad I went last night and avoided the shit show. I'm sure doppelgänger is incredible, but I'm happy with any TH in my fridge.

 

Just staring at that picture of the REAL Be Hoppy depresses me. The batches coming out of the new Wormtown are so mediocre compared to the ones that came out from Park Ave.

 

I'm super happy that I got lucky and made plans to visit Tree House the day they released Very Green and got in and out pretty quickly. Having said that, the beer was not so much better than Green that I would seek it out and wait in a really long line for it. I'll take eight Green over four Very Green any day.

Wow, even without all the NYC folk, who were snowed in, Tree House already sold out of everything: cans and growlers. Did they get much snow up there?

 

Zero snow so far.

 

So I'm headed to Boston this week with off days Weds & Thurs.....
Have access to a car so should I go on Weds or Thurs?
Is there a chance something will sell out on Weds? Or something new get canned on Thurs?

 

Going by recent history they will not sell out on Wednesday and they will add a second, or third, can for Thursday

 

Can't wait to try it! Hoping for something on the dark side this week.
