Good Mosaic IPAs?

Sure, if you like to critique beers you haven't had

 

I highly recommend Yellow Rose IPA from Lone Pint Brewery. It's a SMASH beer using Mosaic hops. I realize hops preference is a completely subjective thing but for me, this is about as good as I have had. Very reminiscent of an IPA that I had at Freetail in San Antonio that used Simcoe hops. Who would have thought that a brewery in tiny Montgomery, Texas would be turning out world class brews?

 

Half Hitch from Crux which I'm sure has been mentioned outshines most Mosaic's I've had. It's damn incredible.

 

I remember having that for the first time a couple years ago on tap at Apex Bar in PDX. Still up there as one of my favorites as well. Had it last March, but the bottle wasn't fresh, which was a bummer. Love their bottles too.

 

I've had the Ninja beers and didn't like them. Talked to friends and they said it was a similar profile.

I used to live down the street. It was my go-to for years and make a point to visit whenever I head back to PDX. Sad to hear they're leveling the block.

 

Technically a APA/IPA comparison, but going to pick up Mosaic DH FPPA and put it up against TG Pompeii...really enjoyed Founders Mosaic Promise

 

No way. Does that mean Apex will be moving? What is this leveling all about?

 

I heard they're putting in condos. Happening all over town. I don't even recognize SE Portland anymore.

 

there is no mosaic in dub... there is a mosaic dubviant that gets an all mosaic third dry hopping on top of the basic beer

 

The new Long Trail SMaSH w/ mosaic and maris otter is terrific. Definitely get some of that if you can.

it also has simcoe and galaxy, but it's (gotta be) mostly mosaic.
