BA Bomb in Kentucky

I talked to a guy at Shenanigans on Saturday and he said most likely they'd get it on Friday. Hopefully enough hits Lexington that I'll be able to find some this weekend.

 

They always seem to do that with harder to find beer. Probably so they can charge twice the price.

 

Yeah, I saw one person checked into it at The Beer Trappe on Untappd on Monday, so that may be true

 

Trappe does have it, I don't know how, but it appears to be bar-only, no take home bottles.

 

Anyone check with the Whole Foods in Louisville? They typically get allocated everything that hits Louisville.

 

I'll usually go to Whole Foods before I go anywhere else; they've been awesome about getting limited releases when everywhere else seems out. Unfortunately, it looked like they might not have gotten any shipment at all this week, for whatever reason; no BA Bomb, and seemingly nothing else new either.

Another good place worth checking for stuff like this, though: Westport Whiskey and Wine. They're very hit and miss, but every now and again they'll have something I can't find anywhere else (tons of Coffee Okie last week when nobody else had had it for weeks).

 

Lexington is due to get more BA Bomb this week. I might pass entirely, gotta go get those BBCVDA up at Jackie O's this weekend.

Looks like I'll be making a trip to Wine+Market this weekend!

 

The Keg in Clarksville, IN had 6 bottles of BA Bomb on the shelf earlier today. So if you're in Louisville and feel like driving across the river, get at it. Also, 1 bottle limit, $11 per bottle.

 

Headed over at lunch, and seemingly as always with the Keg, I missed the Prairie by a few hours. Got a BA Imperial Biscotti Break for my troubles, though.
