How long does KBS sit on shelves after release

Still on the shelves from last year.

 

Unless you bring something to trade with a local BAer your gonna be SOL. Gone same day it's delivered in most cases.

 

It sits on the shelves year round (however these shelves are usually located in basements or closets).

There is a slim chance you may find some at a store in a more rural area but chances are KBS won't be sitting out in the open anywhere. Although, I know last year I scored some a few weeks after the release after a second round of 15 cases showed up at my local store.

I've never even seen KBS on a shelf. Usually it's behind the counter and you have to ask. Always gone same day.

You might actually find it on a shelf, at Founder's. I think that they did an open release last year on April 1st at the taproom store. The ticket release was between March 10 -14. Depending on their timing, your trip date might coincide with the open release.

 

Why don't you bring something to trade? Candles don't hurt either

 

As others have said. Most places it isn't weeks, not days, maybe hours. In the Lansing area it is gone usually within an hour, two at most.

 

I was extremely fortunate over Labor Day weekend 2015 and found a single bottle on a shelf in northern Michigan. The clerk was amazed it was there too!

 

It doesn't sit on the shelf. It's behind the counter, in a safe that only opens when you say the magic words: "I'm also buying three six packs of All Day"

 

In Chicago it never touches a Shelf.

 

Siciliano's had it on Mar 16 last year, and surprisingly, it lasted until a little after 6pm. In 2014, they had it Mar 25 and it was gone in a little over 2 hrs. 2 bottle limits each year. Weren't people finding bottles at random gas stations last year? All I know is that I never saw a bottle of it.
