Being as I haven't heard of any Cheers! bottles showing up on the secondary market or even for trade I doubt this is the case.

not only that, but the group got all the bottles. all a ccb employee would have is a low fill or something like that... and they certainly wouldn't have four of them.

I'm guessing that 95% of these bottles won't end up on some secondary market/raffle group/whatever and will just be enjoyed by this group and their friends. At least that's what I'd like to think.

I suspect that CCB doesn't give much of a shit about what happens to its beers after they leave the brewery as long as they are enjoyed. If the beer sucks, people won't pay ridiculous secondary market prices for it (at least not for long anyway). But, if the beer stops the aging process like I've heard rumors about, then I'm sure some people will fork over significant cash or maybe just buy a raffle ticket because it's worth it for them to do that. People can do what they want with their money, people can do what they want with their shit. Right? Isn't that how we as Americans like things? If so, then that mule group collectively winning the charity auction, then reselling only a small percentage of the beers won to recoup that cost is about the most American thing that could've happened here, no?

And guess what happens if AB Vanilla Zhukov starts selling a $900 a pop, $1,000 a pop? You guessed it, the next CCB charity auction raises double, maybe even triple the amount of money. Other prospecting mule groups start purging their 401Ks, selling their glassware collections and taking out second mortgages. The mass hysteria over the next winner's release of "Life is Like a Box of Qunituple Barrel Hunahpu" shuts down Instagram. The stakes get even higher. The cycle keeps repeating itself. The charity auctions become televised. 750s become Magnums. Magnums become kegs. Brazilian-based REITs, Chinese-backed hedge funds and Silicon Valley JVs get into the mix for swimming pools filled with Septuple Barrel Hunahpu with Leon's Coffee. Shit gets heated. Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg volley billion dollar offers for a Willy Wonka Factory-esque river of Nonuple Barrel PVW 15, 20 and 23 Hunahpu with Coconut. The country of Luxembourg wagers itself! Worldwide demand for proctologists skyrockets as a result of the exponential butthurt left in the charity auction wake.

And as a result, cancer is cured.

So thank you for your noble efforts, mule group. Whoever you are, cheers to you.

I'm sure a few have been traded between close trading partners but I haven't seen them showing up on trading forums.

For god's sake, please quit blowing sunshine up @TampaRainman's ass. Dude already is insufferable enough as it is* and we have to live with him!

*And by "insufferable enough as it is," I mean, "he's even funnier in person than he is here online AND a good dude."
