You're right, but @tommyguz did & you dropped the eff-bomb three times. I'd heard of the thread @kbuzz just posted & was expecting something more caustic from this one. Hope I have time to nestle into a good masochistic read today.

Last night i had a year old old knobby and a coupleish month old old knobby and i preferred the coupleish month old old knobby. More caramel and vanilla goodness in the fresher one, all that really muted in the older, bad cardboard, nothing seem to change for the good, to my taste. I recommend if you have an old old knobby to drink it before it gets too old old.

Also had a Deliverance from 2014 and it was super delicious, i really enjoy that beer fresh too but a couple years turned it into caramel chocolate creamy deliciousness.

Given the recent turbidity characterizations and potty vernacular, I didn't think it'd stand out much. If there's offense, I'll work to censor myself going forward. Thought the hyperbolic nature of the string of bombs would come off as silly, as was its intention. A throwaway comment.

Just as I realize that we here are not all-encompassingly representative of beer culture for all of SWPA, I realize a few douchy comments don't represent a people. I kind of liked Portlanders. I even watch that show about them. But I like Fat Head too, and when people complain that the food isn't homogeneous, when you know that going in, it isn't low hanging fruit, it's fruit on the ground. And it doesn't negate that they make great beer.

Edit: it was very specific fucks I was referring to, not all the fucks. But I don't want this thread to go the way of that one, so I'll digress.

Editx2: Apropos, anyone found Industry Robinson to have more accurate tap lists as of late?

Didn't know they did bottles of that beer again. The ones I have were from the release they did last year a few weeks before Gratitude day... But I just drank one a couple of weeks ago and though it was really good. No bad cardboard or anything for me. I actually like that beer more than Gratitude.

Yeah if you are already there, why not. The waitress told us they only had a few bottles left (I don't remember if she specifically said like 1 or 2 but), which I think they tell everyone that.

Do anyone know off hand what bottles they currently have at Voodoo? Doing a little BiF and I'm heading out that way on Saturday. Intended to grab a couple of things both there and at BG to throw in.

I said hate based on the opinion of people I asked out there. Anytime I go to a place I always find locals and say hey, where is the best place to go for....... and probably 9/10 people said hate and fat head's in the same sentence.

Not sure about Bottles. Meadville still has some BBVD and all the regulars, no good vibes left though.

Yeah I knew how to find the tap list, just wasn't sure if anyone had an idea on the bottles. Appreciate it anyway @tommyguz

    Blasphemy. Reported.

    Not gonna...just want to.

EDIT: would be interesting to see the outcome of Shuggy in that thread. He talks so much shit on Pittsburgh homers, yet loves Fat Heads...hmmm, I wonder...

Looking for a couple fresh hoppy growler fills for the weekend from a local establishment (or two, three). Preference to something new and/or fresh. Can be from any area of the city (I actually have the time/liberty to make the trek to freshness)...

Recommendations? Anyone know of anything fun getting tapped between now and Saturday?

Brew Gentlemen is dropping a new IPA this week/weekend. From their newsletter:

"Also being released on draft tomorrow is Persica - a light, clean, and crushable American IPA. Mildly fruity and floral with a refined bitterness, Persica is a nice departure from our usual high-opacity juice bombs."

Is that newsletter from yesterday or today? Stopping after work for the new saison and would like to try this as well.

The new saison could be a bottle option for your BiF, obviously.

Yeah I planned to include that saison and I'm going to do a 750 growler of something from BG as well. Just looking for more options. I don't have any Voodoo growlers and I was trying to keep the cost on this whole thing down some. Will buy one thought if it comes to that.

I'm thinking i like it more than Gratitude too but that may be cause it's fresh in my mind. Haven't had a Gratitude in a while.
I got a lot of cardboard so maybe i got a bad cap or poorly kept bottle or something.

I drank it from my Keep Portland Weird Teku, maybe that caused the off flavors.
