Lawson's SOS CT Lookout Thread

anywhere in fairfield county still left? visiting my friend that used to live here in texas end of the month. need to hook him up with a 4 pack or two if possible. thought I missed em all.

 

Was hunting for some G-Bot and IST on my way home from Meriden tonight. Stopped at some tiny place on Broad St. Struck out on what I was looking for. As I was walking out, the man goes "but I do have Sip." $20 for a 4 pack. Fuck that bullshit.

I stopped at Stew Leonard's liquor store on the Pike and picked up a 4 pack for $13.99.

 

Anyone on this board in Simsbury CT? I moved up here recently and trying to figure out the best stores that sell sip at reasonable prices and don't keep it behind the counter, etc. Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

 

Their prices seem to be a little above average but Valley puts it on the shelf. $14.99.

 

Any SOS drop in Fairfield County this week?

 

I know not Simsbury but Harvest and Harvest country store in West Hartford don't tend to play games and price fairly.

 

Its a little drive but Liquor Cabinet in Granby sells them but a limit of 2 pp. They are pretty good with Facebook updates. Also the Village Cork and Keg in Granby gets Sip and SS#2 but they haven't been updating lately.

 

Price said $15.99. Shelf was empty. It should be $13.99 and I'm not really willing to pay for than $1 above, out of principle to Lawson's request to sell at MSRP.

If I find anywhere else I will let the group know.

 

I only bought from these guys when I lived in West Hartford.

 

Ill be in CT tomorrow and figure I would look for SoS, anything in the Wallingford/Meriden area?

 

I'm going to be driving through Connecticut down 84, 91, and the Merritt Parkway. Anyone know any spots off of those roads that get sip?

 

Amity in Woodbridge, Liqour world in Cromwell, I know of tons of stores along 95 between new haven and NY if you decide to take that route. The thing is, none of those stores will have any unless a new batch drops tomorrow. If you get lucky and it does drop, pretty much every big store in that certain distro area will be selling sip. Keep track of this thread, if it drops in new haven/ fairfield or hartford area someone will post. We are overdue, so we should be seeing a new batch very soon. Good luck!

 

Was told by a store today that a new batch is due next week. Not sure how reliable that it might just the be wallingford area. Found super session at the same store.

 

Anybody seen anything in Fairfield Co. in th last day or 2?

 

Checked yesterday in new haven county. Heard nothing yet but seems like stores are thinking it will be sometime this week.

I checked Harvest Country Store this afternoon and there was none at 3:30 pm.
