We usually have a couple beers at the party pick up our bottles go back to the Holiday Inn eat dinner and then have a bottle share. We were thinking about maybe in the lounge by the convention center this year.

Just keep in mind the shuttles can be extremely delayed during busy times. Last year I think we waited roughly an hour for a shuttle (having the same game plan as what you mention) before saying screw it and just driving back.

Also, as a heads up, two years ago it was 20 below with a wind chill of 50 below (looks to be a lot better this year) and there were a ton of us standing outside waiting for shuttles as the party was wrapping up. Needless to say, if I take the shuttle, I make it a point to head back on the early side to avoid that crap.

Dodging frostbite is part of the fun! I remember trying to keep my head down below the wall of pallets funneling people into the bus line to avoid the -99 degree wind sweeping across the fields outside the brewery. This looks like it's going to be only the second non-Arctic Anniversary Party I've been to.

Anyone else checking CW social media obsessively for Saturday's tap/bottle list?

Ha, I remember doing jumping jacks...I also remember thinking someone could easily pass out in one of the snow drifts and not be found until spring.

Standing in that bottle line, I seriously thought I was going to lose my toes that night. I still can't believe some crazy bastard was walking around in a kilt. #shrinkage

I always have liked this place. Some good beers but not a huge list. Good food and they do a fish fry everyday.

You enter through some massive wooden lagering tanks from the Point brewery.

Guu's downtown is great, and likely has the best tap list in town. Guu's also has a killer fish fry on Fridays.
The Point After is another nice sports bar with food, just north of downtown. While I was in college, they used to have two dollar CW taps and every once in a while they'd get the BBSA
If you're in town and looking for breakfast/lunch, The Wooden Chair was always one of my favorites, but they close at 2PM.
I always liked Green Tea, the Chinese restaurant downtown, but maybe i'm in the minority on that.

VIP tickets as in Wholesaler & Retail Appreciation Hours tickets? Cause I've got a couple of these and I'm unsure what they all include..

If I recall, you get in an hour or so before everyone else and drink for free during that time.

Yeah, the tickets say 12-3 free draft but I'm questioning whether it'll be just their standard offerings or if they'll be giving out the featured event taps as well.

Had VIP tickets for the 16th anniversary party. Free pours of everything on draft plus the opportunity to buy bottles of the anniversary beer. I think it was 5 bottles, good times for sure!

A couple years ago, they let us drink everything - meaning they tapped all kegs that were going to be available that day.
