Founders Cellar Raid 2016

So when people go, do you mind posting up taplists so the rest of us can see what is going on?

 

Random question,

Is Founders pretty laid back about people trading some bottles in the pub? Just curious as I'm going to be heading down there shortly and really don't want to leave beer in the Jeep while enjoying a few pours.

 

I've never had problems bringing bottles in, trading bottles, etc. just don't open them haha

 

That's what I was afraid of. I'd love to make a flight to explore more of the one offs. When I go my non beer drinking wife will be with me, so we can't do a share/swap. Oh well. That's life.

 

If Sleeper Cell is still on, do yourself a favor. What an awesome beer. They should make that a year round beer, it's the best IPA they make, to me.

Haven't had Sleeper Cell yet, but I'm planning on it when I stop down shortly. Looks like today's firkin is Sleeper Cell cask conditioned with lime, cherries, and chamomile.

 

Anyone try the Blis Blast? Sounds interesting.

 

The Blis Blast tastes nothing like KBS. They'll let you try a sample before you commit to 8oz.

Personally, I'm regretting the 8oz pour. Literally has the mouthfeel of Frank's or similar type of hot sauce. Kinda painful downing this one. Oddly enough it's really not spicy.

 

From facebook looks like CBS was on and is possibly already out. Can't really tell if people are just being dicks or not. If so it was on for ab hour or so?

I'm a big Founders fan, but I just don't get their Bliss Blast beers. The Bliss Blast All Day IPA is possibly the worst beer I've ever had.

 

I'm sorry but that just sounds gross

I kinda liked Blis Blast. Super complex and i didnt find it to be overly hot, but i guess different strokes...

 

That KBS Blast gives me the sh!ts just thinking about it
