Are yall talking about the Full Sail Barrel Aged Porter that showed up in Texas here recently? If so I drank a bottle of it about a month ago, and though it wasnt anything mind blowing, I dont recall picking up any signs of infection in it at that time...

For some reason I thought I remember Ron or Jeff suggesting that 2-3 of these limited releases (Boxer's, etc.) are hopefully going to be stocked near year round in Texas and that this beer might be one of them. I had 2-3 samples of it at the Big Texas Beer Fest. It was my favorite beer of the day, second was Deep Ellum's cask IPA.

Josh's artwork is amazing. I anticipate seeing the characters almost as much as the beer itself. (If anyone has an empty Commercial Suicide let me know...I'd like to have the whole collection).

some of their stuff is definitely lacking. but to lump all their offerings into the "garbage" category...i disagree. some of their stuff i like, especially considering the cost. hop pursuit, LTD series, wassail, session(s), and wreck the halls, come to mind. most bombers are under $5, too.

Label is awesome, but it is much more funk than metal. Funk Metal is a pretty obscure genre and doesn't really have a "look". A Mr. Bungle reference would have been cool though. Squeeze Me Macaroni

Shows they are withholding and not being 100% honest. :-/

My two bottles, opened about a week ago and two days ago, were whiskey-scented vinegar. I got a whiff of chocolate on the very first sip from the first bottle, and then nothing but a thin, sour mess after than. Almost mouth-numbing.

I love BBA stouts/porters, so I was pretty disappointed.

Jimmy Hendrix comes to my mind when I see this picture/label.

They already make shirts with some of their label artwork on it. I have a Black Metal shirt and my wife has Wytchmaker.

I literally was about to post the exact same statement. It's not Hendrix, it's Bootsy.
