BA Bomb in Kentucky

    BA IBB was good but nowhere near worthy of the admission price.

    A buddy who just got back from NKY says TPS had tons of BA Bomb on the shelf.

    So it seems BA bomb came and went in Lexington. I have been chasing this beer all day. It basically was sent to two liquor barns (Hamburg and Beaumont center) with only one case for each. Only one bottle per person and when I say the beer went fast, it went ok about 30 minutes. I was lucky to get one bottle.

    This really makes me angry though. To say Lexington got three total cases is just downright irritating. When stories of Louisville and cincy show that there is not as high of a demand of Lexington, why not throw more our way. Just makes me sad.

    Well that sucks. I was planning on stopping by Beaumont today after work and hoping to get lucky and snag a bottle, guess I don't have to waste my time now. The beer scene in Lexington is sometimes baffling.

    Oh well, guess I'll drink one of the Coffee Okie's I picked up at wine + market.

    i know the middletown liquor barn only got a case and it was gone in a heartbeat. i ended up getting a bottle at the keg.

    Never saw one in the wild; sounds like there was pretty much none in KY. Finally got to drink one from a trade this week, and it's tremendous.

    I wanted two though. One to drink now and one to cellar. It just baffles me that I heard some stores are hiding there's away for their loyal customers. Like TPS had 2 cases just for their beer club.

    Be on the lookout though at W+M market. I have a feeling they will get a case in, in the next week or two. They are a dark horse.

    A buddy gave me one of his, that's how I got one. Plan to open it this week at some point, but so much beer, so little liver capacity.

    Still nothing locally that I've seen other than Holy Grale and Beer Store. I got 4 of them through trading, but I took a bit of a hit to lock them down. Definitely worth it, though; probably a close second favorite Prairie to Vanilla Noir.

    Louisville beer store still had probably 10 ba bombs on the shelf on Saturday night at something like $14 apiece.
