Very excited I'll be making my first visit Saturday. Coming from Dodgers FanFest to pick up my bottles and have some drinks.

I'm so confused. People have bought and secured their bottles. They can pick them up starting Saturday but anytime after that for about a month. And people are seriously going to to stand in line just to say they had their bottles first?

"We have 5 cases each of Infinite Wishes 2015 and The Nothing 2015 bottles for sale – 1 bottle limit/$15 for Wishes, 1 bottle limit/ $11 for The Nothing (Purchase at Back Door during pick up)."

They can purchase an additional bottle, I'm assuming.

Just jumped on the Infinite Wishes release. Pretty surprised tickets were still available!

BPT is the way to go. Now if a few of our local brewery's would follow. I can understand the Blendery still selling bottles the day of....when the tasting room/brewery is only open. Will they ever go BPT? I don't they will unless they ever open the Blendery Tuesday thru Sunday. And I don't think they can with not enough goodness to fill their taps. All of their beers are specialty beers. Unlike the Beachwood beers. With more Beachwood beers coming in 2016 maybe they should think about BPT for some of the special releases. Just my opinion.

Not to hijack the thread too much, but I went into Blendery last weekend on Sunday afternoon and got as much as I wanted of all 3 of the release bottles. I think that with them ramping up the release schedule has helped the craziness. But for big releases - BPT is the shizzle.

I also think that people are less interested in the styles that the Blendery has put out thus far. Earlier this week, they mentioned that they started tasting barrels for their first lambic-style blend. That's going to bring out the craziness.

But getting back on topic, I'll be at Smog tomorrow to pick up my bottles. Not going to worry about 2015 IW though.

Same here. I'll show up around 1-1:30, get a couple tasters, maybe some grub (if available). If it's still available, great. If not, I'll be happy with a taster.

Smog City doesn't have food. Or they didn't when I went, just some free chips. Also there was a bday part going on that had wings and potato salad, but I don't think they were for me to take.

Who will be going tomorrow? I have a pickup to do on Sunday, but with the wife and kid I won't be able to sit around and wait in a line.

Do you think there will still be any sort of line for those looking for the extra bottles? Maybe a separate line just for pickups?

Any feedback on how the 2016 IW is tasting?

Honestly... It's better than 15. Not saying I can remember what it tasted like fresh but 16 is drinking unbelievably well right now. Less of a kick and as it warms it's unbelievably smooth, almost like a milk stout. Flavors are similar but slightly less bitter chocolate in the 16.

Cheers to the Smog City crew for a smooth release. Back door line moved at a decent clip. The bar in the middle pouring Infinite Wishes 2016 was a great idea. I grabbed a IW and waited in the gigantic regular line. Infinite Wishes is tasting damn good and smooth...dangerous at 12%.

Love them! I need to make it down to their tasting room, but it's juuuuuust far enough from me that with traffic this idea of that trip gives me a headache!

I know the laws were recently updated, so frankly, a lot of them might not be up to date and aware of the change. ABC laws in California are ridiculous. I worked liquor retail and we would straight up get secret shopped and you could be fired for violating. There are a lot of rules involved proper branding on beer packaging and the like, they may just not be aware of the rule change!
