I've already had 3 bombers of this and it is excellent. To anyone saying that's it's worse after one try, please understand that your palette changes day to day depending on what you just ate and the condition of your nasal passages. All 3 times, superior to the regular enjoy by.

They should include the disclaimer on their labels -> "Please check your nasal passages before consuming."

Got a bomber of Unfiltered. enjoyed it a lot, was also a big fan of the original enjoy bys. Is Stone going to continue both the filtered and unfiltered versions? Have both in the same markets at the same time? I'd be curious to taste them next to each other. As much as I enjoy reviewing and sometimes go back to my old reviews, I can't possibly determine how this new hazy version compares in aroma and taste to the original, maybe my memory isn't good enough, since I didn't have the last few offerings of original to hit NYC.

As far as price goes, always thought Stone has competitive pricing. However, now that can releases are the norm in NYC, and I'm able to get day-old IPA/DIPAs for usually $4/16oz can, that's gonna beat the $8.99/bomber.

I still love and respect Stone, one of the breweries that got me into craft beer. @StoneGreg, not that I'm an expert in beer sales and how hard it is, but would love to see a few more Stone tap handles around NYC, even just regular Stone IPA. Lagunitas' and Goose Island' IPA have too much on-premise market share, get your reps to step up their game! Cheers

The releases will be staggered. The schedule was posted earlier on this page, check it out. It looks like the next Unfiltered will be the 9/15 version.

Best IPA I think I've ever had from Stone. The nose just explodes and the juiciness is there! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, Stone, do more unfiltered IPAs! Please!

Grabbed a six pack across the river in Indiana. Really hope Kentucky doesn't get hosed on the next batch of this, will gladly pick up a case next time.

Though I enjoyed the beer quite a bit, I still think it suffers from being too bitter at the expense of a cleaner, brighter hop profile. Enjoy By has always been about the dank, forward hop profile, but I have found in recent years it has waned a bit (either that or my palate has dramatically changed). Too many hop varieties can make the beer a tad confusing in the nose, and that's what I feel you get with Enjoy By these days: some resin, bitter aroma, some grapefruit peel, and some dankness. I find myself gravitating towards Noble Ale Works or El Segundo every time, though. Go To remains my favorite Stone hoppy beer these days, and I find it the most aromatic and hop forward of their line, surprisingly enough.

I wish they did an unfiltered single hop series with pilsner malt or something like that. With Galaxy, Citra, Mosaic or Simcoe. That would be lovely.

It's so weird to see people on the east coast that got the six packs of this version. I'm in the bay area and we received only bombers? I don't get it.

Had this one the other day. I'm in the camp of people that prefer regular Enjoy By. But, I'd like to try again.

What exactly does being unfiltered add/detract from the beer?

Had this on tap tonight. Wish I would have went with something else. Didn't do it for me at all.

adds tropical and peach notes, detracts bite from the hops, detracts bite from the alcohol, adds "juicier" mouthfeel.

You are crazy! Have you had any other Cascadian Dark Ales or Black IPAs prior to this?

This seriously is some good beer. Bought one but thinking about going back to store and buying them out. A fantastic beer!

This is Enjoy By fully realized. My only concern is that now I won't want to buy it again unless it's unfiltered because it's just not as good otherwise.

Unfiltered looks and tastes exactly like the regular Enjoy By. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but no difference to me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure they've changed the original dry hops - galaxy and nelson - to something else. I assume it's because both of these hops are in high demand. Additionally, I was under the impression that's why they have some many hop varieties. So they can change things up from time to time based on accessibility without impacting the product too much.
