Bottleworks 17th Anniversary

I think that Pike would probably be the center of a Washington Brewers Merry-Go-Round. In addition to to the guys you mentioned, add Drew Cluley, who went to Big time, and is now at the new fancy-pants John Howie place; Skip Madsen, Boundary Bay>Water Street>American> someplace in New Mexico now; and my buddy Dave Morales, who brewed at Boundary a long time ago, and is one of the principals in the forthcoming Subdued Brewing up here in Hamstertown.

Pike has been around a good long while, and a lot of folks have gone through their doors.

 

Bottleworks 10th Anniversary, Hair of the Dog Matt was a 12oz bottle and I think there have been others in the past that were small(er) bottle format.
Does anyone know the release date? I forget when Bottlework's anniversary is...

 

They haven't announced the release yet. Sometime near the end of February, but never the same day every year.

 

That's right. Can't think of another, but who cares I guess?

 

Love that it's not a fruited sour.

 

The 15th Anniversary beer release was on March 4th and the 16th was on February 25th...only one month to go!!!

 

Release is today. $12 a bottle, limit 4. Hopefully they made a ton since I won't be able to stop in until 5 or 6 tonight.

 

They posted a picture on Instagram of nothing but cases stacked and there were over 30 visible so it looks like there will be plenty to make it through the day.

I'm easily empressed. I like it. Still plenty left at open on Tuesday.

 

Had a friend get me a bottle yesterday, might stop by today for a pour if the keg is still on.
