So I just opened a Juicy that I got in a trade and when opening it there was no hiss of carbonation. I come to find a plastic liner under the cap that actually rings the inside of the bottle. When did this start happening with HF?

I assume it's an airlock of some time? The beer poured fine and tasted good, but I was confused/concerned at first.

If I remember correctly, they started using those caps in March 2015 to with Biere de Norma. They put them on any beers that can be aged, including the magnums.

@boilermakerbrew I've seen these on a bunch of their limited bottles over the last year like @dphalpin had mentioned.

...my bottle of Juicy 'popped' like a bottle of champagne would, which I thought was strange....

Gotcha. Thanks for the info @zoober911 and @dphalpin I guess it has been at least a year since I've gotten any HF!
