Central Waters 18th Anniversary Party

It sounds like it's still available in WI retail, though. I'm hoping to pick up some in Madison/Stevens Point since Central Iowa didn't receive any.

Speaking of, any bottle shop recommendations in Steven's Point or notable things available there I won't see in Madison?

 

JR, Triggs and Bottle Stop would be the three I check usually

 

I don't know what's more disappointing, the selection of other bottles you can buy there other than 18 or the fact that I had to cancel my hotel due to being sick and not being able to drink...again. Seriously, same thing happened at Black Gold. #BeerGeekProblems.

 

Does 18 see distribution?

 

The anniversary beers have not in the past and I doubt 18 will.

 

I haven't seen anything CW18 pricing, does anyone have info on that?

Correct. And at least for draft purchases they are not requiring the whole cash>tickets>beer this time and just cash>beer.

 

package beer also cash only, so between 18, BBBW, draft pours, merch and food make sure to bring plenty.

 

I, for one, am excited to bring hundreds of dollars in cash and most likely accidentally drop it on the floor when I am drunk

 

I've been waiting for the day when an event like this (I always think about it during Darkness Day) is robbed by guys in masks. When you know there's a bunch of fat, slow, lazy guys wandering around with that much cash in their pockets...I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.

My bad. I didn't want to inflict my personal state of being on everyone else. Other than you, of course.

 

This is one of the best releases of the year.

 

Thank you to the guy who gave me his extra VIP ticket. I arrived at 1 to get in line as I had to get in and out for prior engagements and this saved me a full hour (got the ticket around 1:30). Also gave me time to try free pours of 18 and Black Gold. I will be paying forward the beer karma by getting some of the extra 18 to people who couldn't make it. VIP got me 4 and my regular ticket got 8. We had a small tasting group at the very front of the line and I let them try the 18 and BG too.

 

Home run again central waters! Couldn't be more pleased!
