Pretty sure I saw tons of Founders Imperial Stout at WF Alexandria a few days ago. I think it was on an end cap away from the beer aisle.

WF and Wegmans got lots of it.

I saw them at both TW McLean (about 1-1 1/2 ago) and TW Alexandria this week. The McLean store sold out, but as coquet said the Alexandria one still had some as of yesterday (when I went).

Saw FIS at TW Alexandria. In the middle of the aisle that has the seasonal releases. Near the Stone Enjoy By. A little hard to spot.

BTW, their $1 off coupons they send via email are the shit. They took $1 off each sixer I bought today (probably a mistake?)

You can use one coupon for up to four six packs.

They even had it at Harris Teeter in Reston. Actually had it in the mix a six section too, made a sixer of (2 each) FIS, FBS and Lower De Boom for $9.99...couldn't pass that up. 4 packs were like $11.99 if they still have any, this was 2 weeks ago.

I spend a lot of money there as well. I guess not enough.

But I can tell you the Devils Backbone Adventure Pack is treating me just fine right now.

I stopped by Aslin today after work, they are definitely showing some promise. I had 4 beers, the Standard, which was a pretty nice IPA, but nothing crazy; Hoppy Saison, which I liked a lot, it tastes more like a juicy IPA than a saison; Orange Starfish, a hazy IPA with an aroma similar to Alien Church fro Tired Hands, taste is not far off either, if they keep going in this direction, we are in for a treat; and Cocoa Mapalm, a stout that I did not like, it tasted like homebrew to me.

Agreed that this sounds shady. They were advertising this on Twitter as available for sale earlier today (i.e., basically lying to anyone who follows them). If this is true, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I've already taken it to Dominion. I know stuff goes faster there, but I trust the guys to inform their customers in a reliable manner. Ever since Nick left, Arrowine has fallen off rather precipitously. Hopefully they can catch up, big shoes to fill, Nick was fantastic with customer service.

Dominion, and Downtown Crown, are doing all the right things when it comes to building a positive reputation with their customers, if you ask me. I've had tons of positive experiences at the two places.

Good to hear about the IPAs, I hope to get there myself before too long. The guys at Dominion said they're going to start getting some Aslin for growler fills sometime soon, which could be awesome. I should be up around Philly next month, and plan on stopping by Tired Hands. I really want to try Alien Church and Punge.

I'm starting to learn to tip the beer guy, or store owner/manager in beers they can't get easily around here, makes it a lot easier for me to have them hold x beers for me and I get them at my leisure...I'm tipping out RR sours, Carton cans, or NC cans like collab w/o representation, skillet donut stout...beers I get in trades, spread it round...and also spend money too...who turns down a tip of a beer they probably won't ever see? No one I know...

Don't hate the playa, hate the game, up your game.

If you've done that with the manager at a certain TW in NoVA, that would explain a staff conversation I overhead about two bottles of FW Agrestic being "reserved for special customers."

So, not even the Beltway Total Wine has the DB Collaboration Adventure Pack. They said maybe next week. Baltimore County seems to be one of the last to get regional beers more often than not.
