It's not his usual one (which changes from time to time anyway), and probably won't last much longer, but @beertunes, in his current form, certainly deserves a shout-out.

Haha, I recognize yours, Shanex. Good movie from when I was a kid. Has anyone else recognized it? It's kind of a cult movie, despite who directed it.

@Dan_K for me. That happy kitten always makes me smile when I see it.

Mine may be a little obscure & requiring explanation. The upper-left is my pseudo-Great Uncle, Raymond Chandler. Lower-right is my namesake, Woody Allen. The floating CANs are an homage to The CANQuest (tm). The avatar was created for me many years ago & I have kept it since.

I'm glad someone recognize it! Well DePalma was once good and this is indeed my fave of him. It was once aired on tv in the 90s and wanted so hard to see it again I bought the dvd. An underrated yet awesome movie.

First movie I saw of his was Blowout. :grinning: I was probably 12 years old and pretty confused because I kept waiting for Travolta to start dancing. He never did!:grinning:

I've noticed that Sam Peckinpah helped create the great series, The Rifleman, going back into the 50s. Also, Steven Spielberg did work with the series, Columbo. Old TV can be awesome.

Yes, I tell people that Spielberg directed the first episode of Columbo, and they're like....huh?!! "Murder by the Book." There were two episodes/movies of the week before it that were also very good. 70's Columbo, had some of the best plots and the great Peter Falk, shit, hard to top him, as a character actor. And by the way, this SN 5 hop Experimental brew is quite nice!
