Hi-Res 2016 - distribution details, updates, changes & video

I checked 3 stores in Manahawkin and one in Tuckerton. One store sold out, the rest didnt get any yet.

 

Still searching here in the far NW burbs, always a couple weeks behind the city

I'm down to one pack of 4Bean and I'm jonesing for a Hi-Bean black and tan

 

@Sixpoint @SixpointJMH is Hi-Res coming to Maryland? I know we get most of the others IE Global Warmer, RESIN, 4Beans and such but haven't seen any Hi-Res.

 

Was in Shangy's in PA last week. They said they were still waiting for last years batch! I didn't see or hear of any last year in the Lehigh Valley PA region (buddy was nice enough to bring me a couple cans in from NJ). Hope to see some this year.

 

I had my first taste of this year's batch yesterday and it's just awesome. I plan to sample it on tap again tonight. I plan to get a growler to share this weekend. I will be buying as many cans as I can carry when those hit, which can't happen soon enough.

 

Picked up 2 4pks of HI-RES and 2 6PKs of CREAM today in Ansonia, CT. Store had like 4 cases of each left.

 

Yes, Hi-Res will be distributed throughout Maryland next week, feel free to reach me direct and I'll let you know where to find it.

 

Plenty here is Middletown NJ, got 2 6pks of each and there was plenty left on the shelf at our local Spirits Unlimited. Bethany Liquors got both also.

Yes. I found Cream today and have some HIRes from the other day. Thanks anyway . I appreciate it. I got the last 6 pack from some place in southern ocean county.

 

Anybody in ocean county NJ the Spirits Unlimited in Manahawkin right off exit 63 literally right there they have half a case of HiRes left and more coming plus Cream on tuesday. The manager told me this info.

Further south exit 58 gsp plus 10 minute drive. RT 9 Tuckerton. Tuckerton Liqours is where i found Cream. No hi Res there. They had some global warmer though

Why only one store in Manhattan?

 

Is this Best Buy date 12July2015 or 12July2016? I bought it from Buy Rite Jersey City two days ago and I'm feeling a little duped.

 

Connecticut always gets Sixpoint before my area of NY, so I picked up two 4 packs to tide me over until my local place stocks it. Definitely fruitier this year. It's just as good, although I'm not sure if I like it better than the 2015. Either way, I'll be buying more

 

I got my growler filled to share on Friday. I absolutely love this beer - but packages still haven't dropped in VA. I feel like the distributor is usually slow to get Sixpoint stuff out the door (or, maybe I'm just impatient as hell and want it yesterday, in any case still waiting).

 

It's 2016; last year, the four-packs were gold. Compare it against the "5" three numbers later; itlooks like some of the ink just came off.

 

If you're excited for Hi-Res being your first IIIPA, get your hands on some Other Half All Green Everything. You will be blown away. It's one of their core beers and one of the few that's not too hard to get of theirs. You just have to go to their brewery to get it since they don't distribute outside of kegs to bars.
