    Rant:

There wasn't a thread on the Union release of Older Pro (and same day Double Duck), and there wasn't a thread for this event, until about 8 hours before the release. We don't have a ton going on locally, so we need to advertise what we got when it comes around like this. Everyone already knows about the Max's events, but these brewery-only releases are far and few between around here.

    Information:

So, here is all the information they have on the event all collected in one place. It was spread across IG, FB, FB Event Page, and their site.
Here is a an event page for it on here.

How is their stuff? Not many reviews, and these appear to be three new ones for them. Worth seeking out in the trade forums? Figure it's tough to match Trillium (headed there this afternoon...) but I'm always down to try new local stuff!

Anyone who's going today, feel free to shoot me a BM - I'd love to hear your thoughts on these cans, and perhaps more...

I'm heading to OC next weekend with some buddies so I can see us stopping by on the way to get some. These all look promising and I love Nanticoke Nectar, so I'm hoping they are good to great.

For IPA's they are quite on point. Don't think I've had a stout from then before. ChopDank I heard was phenomenal.

Might be a bit of #gopickitupformebro today.

I have been there once and had a great time. The nectar IPAs are awesome, especially on draft. I was a little underwhelmed with the Nanticoke Nectar cans I bought from State Line back in November.

Would love to try Chopdank, Reaper, or any of these three new beers. Might seek them out next time I am in DC.

NE Nectar and Pulp are great. not on the level of Tree House or Trillium, but theyr'e great. the RARtoons event was mobbed. the can line was very efficient. But these are great beers. Would love to see them expand capacity just a enough to send more stuff to the "western shore". Hyde made it to Churchkey. I really like their strategy with the IPAs, they get the prevailing business/hype model. good stuff & good vibes today.

1st meal is also a tasty sweet breakfast stout, tons of maple!

I emailed them to see if they thought some would be left over next weekend, and the guy said it was going quick. I think NE was the only one left.

Pulp is fantastic. 1st meal can def hold its own. NE nectar is solid (though haven't had much NE brews to compare)

    Agreed.

My ranking goes: 1st Meal, Pulp, NE NEctar (very close to pulp).

They just come down to preferences. What they were able to pack into Pulp is surprising.

I had all 3 on tap that day. I had to ask if Pulp had no juice/pulp in it, because it is hazy, juicy and full of citrus. NE NEctar was similar, with a different balance of flavor to it.

They've technically made stouts before, but both were very limited. Titty Geyser was just for a festival and Poltergeist was canned (a pumpkin milk stout), but I never heard anything about that release.

So, 1st Meal was the one I was most unsure about going in, but my favorite in the end. So much flavor packed into 7%. Phenomenal stuff and perfect with breakfast.

I was wondering what else they'd canned and thus what I've missed. So, it seems that they've really started ramping up these tall-boy brewery only releases to be once a month, ever since September. Most have a relatively low case count when compared to this RARtoons release. 3 beers at once with their highest case counts is quite nice. I hope they keep this release rate up. I know it's a haul to get down there, but it was pretty fun and it's an easy drive. So, glad to have something to be quite excited to have another brewery to be excited about here in MD.

I just wanted all their releases in one place:

    When was ChopDank first canned?

Yes, @Devman171 they do hand label the cans:
