Not sure about Bevmo receiving Pineapple Sculpin, but TW&M did and i like it very much. I thought Grapefruit was a nice change. But Pineapple I like even better. Slight hint of Pineapple on the aroma and upfront on the first taste. Warms up beautifully. Only a couple of 6 packs left at TW&M HB. I hope they will get more. And in cans. I will have to buy all variants of Sculpin and do a Sculpin day tasting. I think Sculpin is still good as day one.

 

BevMo in RSM got the Pineapple in on Tuesday.

 

It doesn't show on the website. Maybe it hasn't been updated? I hate when that happens. I was told Lazy Acres had it yesterday for $15 per six pack.
I think they (Ballast Point) will have to do a variety 12 pack of the 4 Sculpin variants.

Rode over to the site where the Long Beach Ballast Point was supposed to be... They still haven't done anything to the structure. I wonder if that idea is gone that AB owns them.

 

They were going to build in Long Beach?

 

AB doesn't own Ballast Point... Constellation does.

 

They purchased the Khoury's building at the end of the jetty. Past Schooner or Later & on the north side of the Los Alamitos jetty splitting Seal Beach & Long Beach.

I'm sure with all the recent activity from Ballast Point it is a slight delay in moving forward with this project. I read it'll be like Stone's Company store type. Tasting room/Bottle&can sale/growler fills and of course merchandise. In the meantime Smog City is getting ready to open up on the other side of LB in Bixby Knolls near the 405. Could be nice and quick stop on way home from LAX. Container City? And a few more surprises to come in 2016. It's going to be a good year for us in the LA/OC area.

 

My Sunday am drink….Founder's Imperial Stout. Again, I'm impressed with these Founder's releases.

 

Wish we would get some love in the Culver City area for once. Guess I can't complain with FW opening up soon

 

Hope ur right DC. The buyildng is located just south of Scooner or Later on the the Southern edge of Long Beach on the Harbor. It's a large restaurant in poor repair. It's been wrapped in a chain link fence for a long while.

 

I know. I drive by it after work heading to BW. It'll be a nice addition to BW and WFs. And you got everything else to the north and to the south. Including RiiP. HB area will be really nice sooner than later.

 

I heard a rumor that Beachwood is going to buy Beach City. Can anyone confirm or deny?

 

I just really need someone (Beachwood or Pizza Port would be amazing) to open up shop in Dana Point/Laguna Beach zone...

 

Why would they? Their hands are already full with three locations

 

It would be nice to see both PP and BW closer to HB.
