How dare they give me an option for the color of my Shine Vessel.

 

Pink, Purple or Neon Green.

Not really.

 

Hey don't sleep on that purple one. It's pretty sweet.

 

That Chicago Maroon is where its at.

 

I could plan a couple outfits around that lilac....just saying.

 

That's what I am talking about, though the forest green would really bring out the color of my eyes.

 

Anyone know if the email about the Shines were sent out after last week's initial communication on the 13th. I'm assuming not but since the first email went to my "promotions" folder and I think I added them to my contacts list so future email go straight to my Inbox I just wanted to make sure it didn't get lost. I just know they mentioned "later in the week" as to when it would be sent.

 

I have not recieved an email since the last one you recieved.

 

Yeah I was wondering the same thing earlier today. I'm also curious if those Sun Harvester bottles will be available?

Anyone have any experience with these Shine Vessels? Not sure what to expect in terms of quality. I see that it's single walled, so it isn't an alternative to a hydroflask. It does say it will keep a beer carbonated for a full month though...

 

Went 18 months on a swing top of breakfast stout, fully carbed and drank great...

Have a 2013 BCBS growler that was filled in June of 2014, and a 2012 BCBS filled in spring of 2016, both swing tops and I expect them to be fully carbed and awesome...probably break 1 out this weekend with the ass ton of snow we're supposed to get...but YMMV and I'm sure someone will have something to say about my keeping of growlers...flame on.

 

Well I sure as hell aint kepping your Resolute growler for that long, better get that shit before I drink it!

 

They are great and very cool looking, but unfortunately for me almost zero places that will fill growlers will actually fill them. They don't work on counter pressure systems and its difficult to see a fill line, so pretty much all the places I have asked to fill mine have refused. (That and the wonky NC growler laws that breweries often use an an excuse to sell their own branded growlers).

 

I guess I've just had bad luck with my 32 oz swing tops, man. They often lose carbonation within 72 hours. Not a huge deal with stouts, but IPA's tend to lose a lot of their sharpness. I will say my Hill Farmstead growler seems to be doing a much better job, but I'm still generally consuming within 48 hours. Now, crowlers, I don't mind hanging onto for awhile.

For 2016 we decided to remove a bunch of a merchandise items included and go to one item that we could then use to provide even more options via our taproom and draft fills. This 32oz growler (Squealer) will be able to be filled in the taproom by anyone in possession of it, i.e. you can have your trustee or just a friend get it filled for you etc. Each member is entitled to a single Squealer and you can not purchase additional ones. We are doing this to prevent the possibility of someone buying 10 and then taking a large portion of a small release when it goes on tap.

There are three color options that we have available and we need a minimum of 50 of each color. If either the red or the green do not meet the 50 minimum those orders will default to the gray. I.e. everyone can pick which of these three colors they want, as long as each color get 50 orders, that selection will be ordered, otherwise it will default to Gray.

You MUST submit your color preference by 1600 EST on Feb 5th. Anyone that has not submitted their preference at that point will forfeit their vessel and will be unable to take advantage of the fill perk.
