New to Ohio (2016)

We're getting Hopslam Tuesday as I'm sure some other stores are too.

 

Still quite a bit of Hopslam at Jungle Jim's in Fairfield, OH. No mini-kegs left.

Limit is 2, 6 packs

 

Got there at 9am had the last mini in my hand and put it back, someone else would enjoy that more than I. Think they had about 20 of them at store open.

I tried to get a mini keg at 11:00 at Cappy's in Loveland, but someone grabbed the last one before me about 5 minutes before.

If anyone doesn't want to keep their mini keg after they are done with it, I'd love to have it.

Are comments being deleted? I was looking to reply to the bourbon comments and jackie's being overly boozy? Someone commented that the jackie o barrel beers are like just putting a shot into the beer? I'm going to disagree with that since I hate bourbon but enjoy most of their barrel beers. There is a bit more of complexity and development that pairs with the beers that are barreled then just adding straight bourbon taste. I find this straight bourbon taste more so in barreled ales or when using whiskey barrels, but not the bourbon barrel jackie stouts.

Quick shout out to thirsty dog bourbon barrel siberian night which gets no hype and is always awesome.

Not everybody works 9 to 5 mon-fri. More stores will get their allocations through out the week. Keep an eye out.

I can't believe there's not more snarky comments on Savor Growls FB post announcing the 50 cases of Hopslam they're getting tomorrow.

 

Any update on this possible ticketed event for willoughby nutsmasher end of the month?

 

Was released early (incorrectly) by a certain retailer, and coincidently told by distributor my location would have it this week also. Long story short, you are correct, the release intention is week following Valentine's Day. Guess a few handful of folks in Cincy are already enjoying theirs!

 

At least it's good to know it will be released everywhere else shortly

 

If they have 50 cases tomorrow did it hit giant eagle today?
