    Coming from MN the weekend of Feb 6th. Any new Pipeworks being released around then? And/or what is worth picking up other than Ninja Vs Unicorn? Haven't tried very much from them :slight_frown:

    Per Gerritt on the CCBE FB group last night, >>Will not be released next week. We had to push it back on the schedule unfortunately.<<

    No word why. There was a photo that posted on January 13 of two brewers adding cinnamon and vanilla to the beer....

    Not to nitpick, but I thought Hello was an imperial porter, and the base beer they used for As You Wish. I bought one yesterday and am looking forward to doing a side by side.

    It's an Imperial Porter by label, but I wouldn't fault someone for saying stout. Anymore these days they're basically indistinguishable.

    Yeah, I get the similarity in styles, and don't fault him, just clarifying. Looking forward to seeing how much the base changed in the barrel, since this is the first release of Hello. Hopefully it means more As You Wish is around the corner.

    It probably just got put into barrels. I'd guess they made a double batch, bottles 1 and put the other down to rest in barrels.

    I don't know how long As You Wish was aged for the first time around but PWs typically doesn't go short on the barrel aging process. I'd guess at least 8 or 9 months

    No harm. Yes, technically it is an imperial porter, it sure drank like a stout though.

    As of the last time @NOTpipeworks commented, they hadn't formulated the new recipe yet. It might be a while. Good news is there's lots of good beer
