Super Bowl 50 Beers

No theme beers for me this year. I will probably go on a beer hiatus for the next month afterward, so my hope is to get some favorite seasonals to go out on. Fingers crossed I get both Nugget Nectar and Hi Res this week.

 

Thought the release was Friday? Either way....I may pop on up from the East Bay...but if I don't, enjoy the PtY.

 

Well maybe I'll go with SN Celebration or maybe Bootleg Fireworks ah screw it, I'm a proud NE fan so I'll probably just crush some Gansett and call it a night.... Before what I think will be a brutal beat down on Denver delivered hot and fresh from Super Cam and co. I'm watching for the ads aka no rooting interest whatsoever!

 

As a Chiefs fan, I'll have to avoid all Colorado beers. I have none from Carolina available to me unless I drink Sierra Nevada.

I have no skin in this game apart from some box pools (including a BIF pool through this site) so here is the lineup:

Don't care much either way, but if I'm pushed Manning going out with a win would be nice.

 

Will be cheering for the Broncos simply to see Peyton go out on top. Not sure what to drink during the game but I have a collaboration Soba Ale by Rogue and chef Morimoto I may open.

 

ALL DAY IPA then I may finish off with either a weihenstephaner hefe or founders imperial stout

Have to go for some classic Colorado beers for this one. Odell 90 Shilling, Oskar Blues Dale's Pale Ale, NB Fat Tire, and Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout will all be represented.

 

I'm cooking all the food so I hope my friends bring some damn good bottles. Well maybe I'll pick up case of Otra Vez...
