Highland Park Brewery thread

Went in last night. I was a big fan of the Partly Cloudy. Not so much Gloom, but it's definitely not my style. Tried El Prieto from Craftsman which was pretty insane.

 

Hell yes, HPB ranked 7th best new brewery worldwide on that other site! They're clearly doing something very very right!

Me three. A very bright spot at the end of a not so great Monday

 

Black Kisses, cuddlebug, new Bruery allocations, Firestone, now Lazy Susan, all in one week. What's next, is West Ashley gonna come out this weekend and I have to drive up? My wallet can't take it!

 

I was just commenting to someone about how after the initial Bruery shock last month I'd maintained a relatively good budget for the remainder of the month. Just about 24 hours into February and my budget for this month is going to be blown in a matter of days.

 

Yeah, the beer friends email went out, and talking to a friend of mine it looks like they've added some friends this year, Stephanie wasn't an HPB beer friend until this release.

 

Yeah, I got the Friends email invite too. First time on the list, guess maxing out on every release for 6 months gets you in.

 

I need to step my game up.

Stoked to be invited as well... Lazy Susan day can't get here soon enough. Might actually try making the release day as well. Never been day of release before.

Gah. But yes, finally hitting up smog city, monkish, and phantom carriage this saturday. It is scary leaving my comfortable little slice of paradise down here. But beer beckons. Although this may be the last year I am in the beer "game". Looking at my spending on bottles and events...cocaine might be a cheaper hobby. Hehehe =P

 

Seriously man... it never ends anymore...

 

So who's gonna be the guy to post the Friends-only purchase link before the open sale on Friday and confuse everyone?! Can we start a pool?
