Well, it was a pretty low bottle count.

One bottle limit, though. 156 gone in under five seconds.

I wouldn't be surprised if there were that many people that wanted that beer or wanted to try to trade that beer... It's a new era... haha... I don't see it slowing down any time soon. I can't wait to try it, personally.

Gonna be taking my daughter to Disneyland in a few weeks, probably won't have time to hit up breweries, but will be looking for some bottles to enjoy back at our AirBNB at night. Any good Anaheim bottle shop suggestions? Veeco Food Store is super close to where we're staying, but if anyone has another suggestion I'd appreciate it. No need for whales, just some good solid local beers is fine with me.

While it isn't technically Anaheim, Mr. K's (right near The Bruery) will get you everything you need. It's about 15 minutes from Disney.

Liquor Mart and Mr. K's liquor shouldn't be too far assuming you have a car

Will be in the LBC area tomorrow for work and will have some downtime.

Looking for bottle shops nearby that have a great selection and hard to find beers (especially beers I cannot get in TX - Russian River, local CA beers, etc).

I came across Stearns Liquors and they seem pretty legit from what I can tell. It seems that they have two locations. Is one better than the other?

from what i heard it's not locked down. working out lease and building. but if they get that going then it's a go

BK talks about it in that recent interview

sounds like it would be like a barrelworks / blendary type thing

They're both pretty good. Stearns Bixby has a bit bigger selection, and it seems things stay on the shelves a bit longer. Stearns in Long Beach is the original and is definitely worth checking out. Just up the road from Stearns LB is Wine Country, which also has a good selection.

There is a bar in California adventure near the Napa rose restaurant that typically has sculpin and a couple other decent beers. The diner in the cars area also has racer 5. Just in case you want something to walk around and sip on. Pricy, but then again what isn't at Disney land. No booze in regular Disney land, unless you have a connection to club 33. I love that my olives come on a mickey head pick.

It's been a while since I've been there, but I do remember having a beer at California Adventure back in the day. I looked up the recent Untappd checkins, I'd be fine with the offerings because passing up beer at Disney is stupid regardless of cost.

    Thanks, I appreciate it.

What about Stateside Crafts in Long Beach?

Might not find much in regards to Russian River as long Beach typically gets their shipment on Fridays. Though a damnation might be around at Wholefoods or Lazy Acres.
