Forget all that over priced meh inside Ca Adventure. Go eat at Pizza Press across the street. Usually has pretty good taps and pizza is cheap and decent. 5 minute walk from Main Gate.

So many releases. How do you guys do it? I can barely drink through the stuff I get, which is only a fraction of what comes out.

Mr. K's, Veeco, and Vendom in Fullerton are good places.

Smog City with their sours today. Didn't even plan on buying since I'm trying to limit and save, but I saw free shipping so 5 bottles later, here I am. Oh well, I'll save after I visit The Bruery tonight. It's tough buying so much because 1)you have to find space for everything and 2)you end up just holding on to the stuff for long periods of time and keep buying. This hobby is making me 1)fat and 2)broke lol.

Why would you drink it?! I'm compiling every bottle I purchase this week and gonna beg for someone to take them all off my hands for a couple cans of Tree House IPAs...

I mean even beyond purchasing, there's the matter of consumption. I tend to drink year-round or seasonal shelf stuff during the week, and save special beers for the weekend. With limited opportunities to drink special releases, it's easy for me to develop a surplus even with the minimal amount of stuff I acquire.

That's right. I forgot about the California Convenience Tax. Since all we do is press a few buttons, a $15 California release converts to $2.50 in New England releases.

Bottle shares and really good trade partners I have met. We kinda just randomly send boxes back and forth.

When I used to trade, I'd end up with an even larger surplus from extras and even the main bottles themselves because we'd expand to make shipping more worthwhile.

Yeah I have noticed that happens at times as well. When it does, bust out the phone after dinner, call up a few buddies in the area to come save me from too many extra cans/bottles.

What I should do is take a few 6 packs across the street though since the couple in that house have a huge tv and I find myself occasionally watching whatever they are for like 5 minutes when I take out the garbage or something. I likely owe them some beers for being creepy or something. =P

Hey I don't have cable in my house and when the tv is like 60in+ and in front of a window with no drapes and there is X-Files on...you would stop to watch a bit too. =P

Or less. Sadly we don't get to trade at 10x retail yet.

Pretty much yeah, but before it would just hit netflix and/or hulu, both of which are cheaper than any cable package. Plus then either stream sports or head to a pub and watch. So at the end of the day it was an unnecessary expense.

I traded all my 3 bottles of CuddleBug from the last release for 12 cans of Julius. Well worth it.

Look for Sonoma Terrace, there is a good selection of brews there. Link to their menu
