When will the MBDN be dropping? Same date as Lambo, being Monday or Tuesday? Also, when will Subliminal Message and the Fantome collab hit stores? Or is Subliminal Message the Fantome collab?

Sorry in advance for this post being loaded with questions. I, like the rest of us on here, just REALLY happen to LOVE your beers! Thanks also for your continued involvement on the threads.

I might walk by just to see what a case of Grimm IPAs looks like. Lucky to scrounge together 2 or 3 cans in the city.

Last few releases most places had a 4-pack limit, and this batch is the biggest yet, so I wouldn't worry too much. It's still not going to be easy to find, but if you monitor here and social media and are in the city during the day next week, you should have a reasonable chance of getting some.

Maple, Lambo, and and Subliminal are all dropping together and should all be on the shelves early next week. I can't say when the Fantome collab will turn up -- that ball's in Fantome's court!

Maybe in the city, but out here on LI I don't know of one place that was more than 2 cans/pp and that was only Cloudbusting.

Oh yea, well unfortunately for people not in the city I'm guessing the city still gets the majority of cans still. I do know some stores in Albany do a 4-pack limit as well, but I guess LI doesn't get as lucky. Hopefully you will with this bigger batch size.

I was surprised the other day to see Grimm bottle (Rainbow in Curved) at a bar in DC, ordered and inspected the bottle and saw it was brewed at Beltway Brewing. Sweet. Go on their website, see that sometimes they have 1 on draft for pours/growlers. Cool, although this is 45min//1hr from where I am in Arlington. And I see Grimm says no VA distro.

Am I correct in assuming I cannot get packaged Grimm beer, from Beltway Brewing in VA ? I can call them but thought someone in this thread might have the inside scoop. cheers /thanks

You can't get packaged beer at Beltway, but they do growler fills. I've heard that lately the Grimm stuff has been flying out of there (surprise surprise!), especially the IPAs, so you'll need to act fast.

Darn, too bad. I can't justify a 2+hr roundtrip to cop a couple of growlers, no matter how good they are. Maybe I'll pass that way some weekend soon though.

Hmm, I mean at least in New York the best you can do is a 4-pack of cans (some places have an even lower limit), so a 64oz growler is exactly the same. But I can see how that would be a huge pain. There are plenty of other good breweries to hit up in the general area though (Ocelot, and Aslin is getting a ton of buzz), so you could make a day of it if you go when some Grimm beers are on.

Has anyone seen places in manhattan that does growlers of Grimm IPAs? Not sure if I've seen one.

Figure I'll have to build a 4-pack from hitting up multiple spots. The only place that had 4-can max was WF Chelsea for Tesseract, and I can't imagine being that lucky to be in the right place at the right time again.

Milk & Hops & Good Beer. I've gotten growlers of afterimage at those places and they had pulsewave for fills when i went to get cans, got there luckily at the same time the cans arrived. Will say that these places don't offer counter pressure fills my growler of afterimage from milk and hops was oxidized by the time i made my way back home.

Top Hops, Milk & Hops, Murray's Cheese all did 4-packs of Tesseract and Cloudbusting (and Pulse Wave for Murray's Cheese). Pretty sure I read on here that Bread & Honey also did 4-packs.

I like the idea of a timed release or Speakeasy. You put it all out at once, all it does is reward the lunatics who are willing to line-up outside early to be able to run in and grab some. Waiting in line for beer is getting out of control, normal people who love great beer and aren't crazy enough to wait hours in lines are being shut out.
