I understand the pale ale part, what do you mean by "rotated" pale ale?

Most of these are basically IPAs labeled by the brewery as an APA, and all but Born Yesterday (maybe Mo as well) have very limited distribution. No vote from me as I've only had one of them. I have access but refuse to buy MBC bottles, $7-8 id way too much for a pint of pale ale.

No love for Daisy Cutter :slight_frown: (assuming it falls as rotating, whatever that is)

Admittedly haven't had them all but Born Yesterday was a phenomally fresh tasting brew. Had it at about a week old.

I have done fresh Pseudosue vs fresh Zombie Dust many times and I always go with Sue (even Florida Sue). Zombie Dust is a little more malt forward and masks a lot of the citra, which makes it more reasonable to call an APA.

I like MBC stuff, but I agree they are overpriced for sure.

Voted for MO, but would have said Pipeworks Lizard King if the choice was there. My favorite right now.

Is born yesterday coming back or was it a limited one off?

I came on to say this too! Love that beer, and I don't have to kill someone to get it.

I'd guess it will be their one one hitter series beer again for October/November as it's a fresh hop ale...not sure how this is considered a APA, anyone care to explain?

Lights on is way better than Sue IMO, hophands is great and I feel like zombie dust is slightly overrated, but the double dry hopped mosaic version of hophands (D2H3) would get my vote if it was listed. The others are also great beers but don't cant really stand up to the others..IMO. I tend to enjoy more juicy, aggressively hopped APAs though so take this with a grain of salt. To each his (or her) own

Because that's what the Brewer brewed and says it is.

There isn't a line in the sand between the two styles and the boundaries are fuzzy at best.

Our taste tell us if we like but do not determine the style.
