If you haven't seen it, watch the new Mad Max movie.

Oddly enough, movies involving running from a horde stress me out. I enjoyed it, but it was very stressful.

I don't really listen to music while brewing, but I do tend to when designing recipes. When I'm brewing the music is competing with a rather large exhaust fan, and whatever my kids and wife want to do.

However, when I listen to music it's generally Folk/Indie/Alternative. I've really been listening to these guys recently:

I do Christian HipHop (Lecrae, Andy Mineo, Trip Lee, KB, T-Dot, Derek Minor, Canon) or Alternative (Linkin Park, Red, Falling In Reverse, Imagine Dragons, 21 Pilots, Seether, Breaking Benjamin, 5 Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, Fall Out Boy, Breaking Benjamin) or Dubstep (Cell Dweller, Skrillex, Glitch Mob, Lindsey Stirling).

My brewing buddy and I luckily like a lot of the same music. Typically give Black Keys, live Pearl Jam, Gary Clark Jr., Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Soulive, Thievery Corporation, and Bob Marley get heavy rotations.

I've been getting into doom/drone/sludge/stoner metal/what-have-you for recent brew-days. The crazy thing is I stopped smoking that shit a dozen years ago! Just like all aspects of a brew, it feels like there isn't much going on when there really is.

Hopefully, you listened to this before you got off the grass and sludge metal was a thing:

ah, well, prince or jazz, like wes m or tal farlow. no reason really. however, when first started out, while listening to the radio, they played when doves cry or some other prince tune. stuck since. for some reason, jazz/funk/pop fits nicely while brewing...

I like the Avett Bros., Trampled by Turtles and everything else in that general vicinity of music. I don't know, makes me think I am a back woods moonshiner I guess.
