I agree it sucks. But I see it as kind of a "treat yo self" beer since it's not available year round.

Praire. I love bomb, probably one of my top stouts, but at 9-10 a bottle in Kentucky, I can only ever buy one and just wait for the perfect occasion. Beyond that, three floyds is the next one. I love some of their beers but when you have bombers going for upwards of 15.99, it isn't worth it. Apocolypse Cow is one of my favorites I have had from them, but again, I will only ever buy one and save it for something special.

The Rare Barrel and Lost Abbey immediately come to mind.

    Also, Prairie.

Price is subjective for sure, that said, would I buy PTE again, no and that applies to quite a few others including BP Sculpin, just not one of my favorite beers when purchasing but glad I made the effort to try these offerings.

Glacial Mammoth Extinction from Storm Brewing. At $1000.00 for the Mammoth Tooth bottle it's a bit steep. Thought the beer was okay but even the regular $80 a litre was a bit steep.

Bombers in general. For example my favorite shop sells a 6-pack of Fat Tire for $7.99 and a 22 oz bomber of the same beer for $3.99. That's 9 oz/dollar vs 5.5 oz/dollar.

When I see 4 packs of Sunday Morning Stout for $13.99 it makes me wonder what am I not over paying for. Same thing for a lot of Dogfish Head stuff like Palo Santo Maron or Burton Baton which is comparitively cheap or the Duclaw barrel aged (Hell on Wood, Devil's Due, etc...) 12'ers that I can regularly buy for 2.99 or 3.99.

Pliny is $7 for a pint at my local store, and worth every penny. I would pay more to be honest

Dogfish really doesn't overprice anything. I agree $16 a four pack for palo is a steal, I buy a few a year.

I totally agree. Weyerbacher Insanity is a great BA barleywine too and for 14$/4-pack it's far cheaper than the competition (20$ bombers of Bigfoot for example).

Dogfish Head 12oz bottles are priced really well but I think their bombers can be pricy. The new Noble Rot is 15$ so it's not cheap and 75 Minute is high too.

That's a hell of a deal, wonder if the extra $2 I'm paying is shipping or gouging. Oh well it's still worth it.

Troegs Mad Elf - I like it but I don't know why it costs that much more relative to their other offerings.

The noble rot is oak aged for a year and is already not a cheap beer to make. $15 isn't that bad. I do agree though that some of the bombers can be a bit high.

I think i paid 3 bucks for singles and 16 or 17 for a sixer for a Belgian Style Strong that's a pretty fair price.
