    Bananas Foster won't be for awhile. They are hand caramelizing sugar bananas pound by pound. As of a month ago they only had 350 of the 650 pounds completed.

    One of those breweries that I've only had at MBCP day in Ft. Lauderdale. I remember seeing them talk about the banana caramelization way back when they made it shortly after opening maybe? Sounds very intriguing.

    Yep....be on the lookout for the next few weeks. And yes a little birdie told me so. If everything goes correctly with what was just bottled, could possibly be a release this coming weekend of their BA Stout. Yep the same birdie mentioned this to me on Friday too.

    How does one keep the already caramelized bananas from spoiling over that long of an amount of time. And I think Angry Chair needs to be the first brewery to invest in a flame thrower

    I would think they caramelize the bananas in kettle first, that's a lot of poundage

    Bananas Foster is not currently in the works but I hope to make it happen soon. There will be quite a few more bottle releases in the near future though.

    Per Angry Chair's facebook event page:

    We are releasing our bourbon barrel aged Russian Imperial Stout this Saturday at noon. This jerk of a stout spent 13 months in bourbon barrels, and came out at 13.9% ABV.

    Bottles will be available for purchase at $25 Per 750ml bottle with a limit of 4 per person. While supplies last. We will be selling these bottles out of the brewery to alleviate a crowd in our tasting room. We are asking that you please bring cash for bottle sales so that we can expedite the purchase of your bottles.

    We will have BA Popinski on draft along with some other goodies (while supplies last, one keg and done).

    Please park in the lot directly across from us on Florida Ave, or on North St (one block north of Fern St).

    Smooth bottle release today. Showed up at 12:25. Left by 1230. Line was out the door to get in so I bypassed going in to try it. But very smooth release getting bottles Angry Chair!

    Yessir. No line at 1:15. Bought one. Went inside and tried a small pour. Went back outside and bought another. Looks like plenty to go around.

    All bottles gone around 1:30 or so. Good drinking inside after the initial wave of people cleared out. Had it on tap, really good, I thought it was better than the last unbottled batch

    Got there early and picked up my bottles with zero issue. Had some of the delicious beverages on tap including BA Popinski and Coffee GCCS. BA Popinski is incredible and glad I picked up my full allotment. AC is doing some amazing things and getting some very well deserves recognition. I was told 700 bottles total and they were all gone by 2pm.

    BA Popinski was good but the Maple and Coffee GCCS were the stars there in my mind.
