At least 6ppl. The typical "alpha male" trying to be the loudest, one of them was even singing to some girl/date/girlfriend/random female. So you know..the clientele that Iron Triangle is attempting to attract. =P

 

Guess no need to camp out for Churchill's Finest Hour...

Hopslam has arrived in Los Angeles area

 

Just picked up a sixer at Ramirez. A little pricey at $18.99 but I've heard about this beer for years so I had to jump on it.

 

do you know how many they have left?

 

He said they only received about 6 cases and it was going quick. Don't know if it will make it to there other stores.

 

How is it?

 

Very good. It has a west coast IPA aroma with hops, grapefruit and pine. Taste is different with some sweetness, malts, honey and mild bitterness. Well balanced and improves has it warms. The 10% ABV is well hidden. Try and find it if you can.

 

My local shop got limited quantities of HopSlam too. They decided to sell it for $3.99 per can, 1 can per person. I've had it before so I'll have to pass.

 

I'm curious to try it straight outta the can. Anyone know the canning date?

 

Canning date on the six pack I picked up was 1/27/16 I believe

 

Anyone know if/when Pizza Port SC or Crow Bar in Corona Del Mar might get/put on their Pliny The Younger kegs? I have yet to try it and am in between both those places. Don't know for sure if they are getting on this year. Any hot tips would be much appreciated!
