Just polished off a Sucaba 2012 with Sunday dinner. Why do I feel like taking a nap?! Zzzzzzzzzzzz. Wake me up at game time.

 

Getting rid of my last two cans of Guinness IPA, then i'll get into better beer territory with SN Celebration and Southern Tier One Buffalo. I'd go the stout route, but these beers will go better with the copious amounts of pizza and wings i'm going to be eating

 

Ima keep poundin these North Carolina beers while the panthers pound the Broncos

 

1st half- Atrial Rubicite
2nd half- WW French Toast

 

Highland IPA and Westbrook 5th Anniversary beer

 

Coffee Noir good at room temp (4.3/5), maybe the bump is influencing me

 

Growler of Lone Pint Yellow Rose and a half growler (/whatever) of Big Bad Baptist.

No reason other than Taps and Caps had them on and they sounded good.

 

Way more interested in that Van Winkle than the Coffee Noir, but that's a hell of a pair either way.

I'm very Ocd on my hoppy beers, I always prefer them fresher. I understand the idea of the sweet spot, but I absolutely hate a hoppy beer that's turned malty. The sure cure for my condition is fresh. An older NN which was my first is the reason I passed on it last year, it was maybe 2 months old and it was awful.
