Carton you guys are the best. That's all I wanted to say. I could list reason after reason but that would take too long. Cheers!

Had to take a pic of all my Carton brews (drank all the Sit Down Sons a few weeks ago) before I drank my last Epitome. Look at these sweet canned beers! We are getting spoiled by Carton's canned selection! I believe Carton has taken the spot as number one NJ brewery.

Loved my visit to Carton today. Great space, awesome beers as usual. Regular Coffee kicked before I got there. Tried Irish, thought it was a bit too harsh but bought a few cans to stash away and see how they develop.

Carton has been on an epic run lately with all these canned offerings. Though the abv on coffee, decoy and gilded lily is putting a hurting on me.

Considering that is the 12 oz can label I'd say it's a safe bet to see cans of this very soon, I'd love to try it, the last round of reg coffee/irish/churro was really nice.

Maybe yes, maybe no. I think these labels are made for approval but doesn't mean they are utilized right away.

Certainly hoping this one is actually in the plans. It's not BA so that certainly helps.

Is this a distro label or brewery only?

It's just the can label, has nothing to do with whether or not it gets Distro, that is entirely up to Augie. But based on recent trends I would guess some of this sees normal distro

not exactly true. the government is not always quick to approve a label especially if you are doing something that hasn't been done before. this one took about 2.5 years because although it is perfectly normal to sell astronaut ice-cream to kids at the smithsonian there was no precedent for it in beer. in those cases we get the beer around as a growler with the simple COLA recipe approval. if the cola is good the beer is growler-able but not necessarily retail-able. labels are a different approval process

I was not aware of that, thanks for the correction! (And I hope we see this soon it sounds amazing!)

@augiecarton Well, like I said I would, I accepted your challenge. It worked out nicely because I was able to get my dad to bring a case of Boat to me on a visit this weekend (dated 1/22/2016). I drank nothing but Boat during the Superbowl. Got through 8 of them by the post game and now I sit here typing this message. Really enjoyed them, but sorry, I stand by my statement that they don't stand out from any other sessions. Boat is certainly a top-tier session, but it doesn't stand out over any of the other easy to acquire sessions like Even Keel, RecreationAle, All Day, Easy Jack, etc. To be honest, if Boat wasn't so damn expensive, I might even make it my go to session. Bottom line is it's a nice session that doesn't stand out IMO.

FYI, I'm not trying to pick on Carton and @augiecarton here. 077XX is possibly my favorite beer of all time, and I've had Heady, Pliny, etc. I just don't get the Boat love compared to other sessions. They really are basically all the same, with some slightly better than others (Boat being one of them).
