Most Expensive Beer You've Bought

~$18 for a barrel aged big foot. i limited myself to $20 for a single beer

 

$50 for two 2008 Bcbs. Sent them to ba friends in trades.

 

At this point the 3 fonteinen Framboos Hommage 2015. Bought it for 50€ at a local Brewery.

 

$20 for a 2015 Darkness, and that's stretching the boundaries for me.

 

I spent $200 for a Utopias (PBR drinking wife's eyebrow goes up).

Ditto, only it's Miller Lite for her.

$79 BCBS Rare comes in 2nd, $20 for a pony bottle of Red Horizon trailing 3rd. (3rd should really be a ten year old bomber of Weyerbacher Decadence 10th Anniversary from a beer shop's cellar that the cashier accidentally charged $8 for instead of $80, which I didn't notice until I was already out of town. Still feel really crummy about that.)

 

$62 for Rare this year.

 

$18 for La Folie.

I'm cheap, I know.

 

$35 Biere De Norma Hill Farmstead. Would spend that everyday for that beer.

 

I was given a $30 bottle of Trignac for Christmas. Does that count?

 

I have bought roughly 20 bottles of yazoo's embrace the funk line at $20-25 each over the past couple years

 

40 or 50 euro for a bottle of Cantillon's Pinot D'Aunis at Moeder Lambic. I'd typically scoff at doing such a thing, but justified it in that "once in a lifetime" kind of way.

I love that beer but yea its too much for more than once a year for me.

 

$45.99 on a 2015 Hommage.. Still sits on the shelf as we type.

$25 each for 2 BA darkness got a good trade on the first, but haven't tried it yet so don't know if it's worth the money.
