So far, I have gotten my hands on:

    Hoppy Birthday
    Duet
    Pure Hoppiness

    I never found any Nelson.

Anyone know if they plan on expanding distribution here, or are the limited offerings going to be the best we get?

They will rotate the 4 core beers around the country they have said. Ultimately I doubt GF knows for certain what they will do with Alpine just yet.

you can normally find Nelson at Byerlys. or it seems like ive seen it their consistently.

GF/Alpine recently started to distribute sixers of Pure Hoppiness, Duet and Hoppy Birthday. havent seen Nelson in a sixer format yet.

For those who have had pre Green Flash and post Green Flash versions of Alpine beers... how are they comparing to you?

Had Duet which was still tasty, but not the original amazing nectar I had previously.

Duet & Pure Happiness showed up for the first time in Rochester this week. I believe they both had a BBD of June 9th.

I've seen some comments on Alpine dropping in quality since Green Flash or whoever is brewing them now but the Duet I had recently was one of the best IPA's I've had. The last time I had it years ago I loved it as well so I guess I am not noticing a decline at all.

Is GF brewing the sixers of Duet, Pure Hoppiness and Hoppy Birthday that are around the Twin Cities? The labels say brewed by Alpine and the glass has Alpine on it too. The bombers I had of said beers when they first arrived all had Green Flash as the brewer with Green Flash on the bottle also.

That's what I suspected. I thought the Duet I had from the sixers was very good, but I've never had the original form Alpine either so can't compare.

Not all. I got sixers from F44 (I believe) that had alpine glass.

If you want to waste a couple of hours of your life, this has been discussed extensively in the Pacific forum, both here & on other sites. As of October when I was out there, the only beer to-go that was still be brewed at Alpine were bombers, & all of the stuff we're seeing for distribution was coming out of Green Flash. Alpine is roughly the size of a postage stamp; no way they could crank out the kind of volume flowing east!

That's what I was saying earlier. It seems that Green Flash has Alpine glass and is putting Alpine as the brewer on the labels now, which is different from the bombers.

Is it not feesible that an Alpine brewer/brewers is/are brewing their beers at Green Flash's brewhouse?

All the bottles are from GF. Virtually all draft too (and Alpine brewed Alpine isn't leaving CA just like always, probably not leaving Alpine, CA at this point)

Gotcha - I assumed the glass was the indicator - I also swore the labeling was indicating alpine - but there is a distinct chance that I am wrong.

The 12oz bottles say "Brewed by ALPINE BEER COMPANY in San Diego, California." This leads me to believe Alpine is brewing them at Green Flash's brewhouse.

The difference is significant enough, I for one will not be buying anymore alpine/hf.
like Florida Sue cans vs iowa bombers
