The asterick in the upper right corner of the tag means it is not being reordered. It's a closeout price.

Santa Rosa Costco. About 10 miles from Lagunitas. The Sucks was about 5 weeks old.

Costco where I live doesn't have much, the SAMs club is decent though. The Costco near my parents however is pretty decent. Nothing super special, but a nice bomber selection and the occasional random limited release

Maybe I am in the minority but Costcos around me pretty much only sell Coors and whatnot. Lagunitas IPA on the occasion.

My local Costco got one case of Barrel Aged Darkness about 30 minutes before I arrived. Of course, since they don't impose limits, one guy took it all.

They had limit 1 Sucaba at some stores in California this year. This was after one guy bought something like 500 bottles of BCBS last year.

My Costco in yorba Linda is pretty good. They have a variety of bombers. Does anyone know when this Costco gets beers? I go there pretty regularly (2-3) times a week if not just to check out their booze. I was there two days ago and when I got there today it was all the same stuff - except! I could see through all the bottles there was a small box on its side, I moves some bottles out of the way and found it to be a Sucaba. I was stoked and bought it. I'm just wondering if they really got this in and sold out in the one day I didn't go.

    Any comments?

My local Costco has taken a huge turn for the worse lately. Bomber selection hasn't changed since they added individual bottles. Any decent beer they get (Sierra Nevada, etc.) is 3 months old.

Yeah...my local Costco had bombers of Old Rasputin. Had to get 1. They weren't a deal...about half of a four pack. Cases are all around $23-24.... Sierra, Lagunitas, Anchor, 21st Amendment, etc. Costco's down south had a way better selection.

I heard it depends on the Costco. The one in SLO sells booze only to non-members.

Maybe their not selling well there. The bottles in the 4 way ipa i got from costcos in CT say 1/8 and 1/12/16.

I certainly agree with that. They stocked up on bombers of different ciders, locals/Goose Island and some Green Flash/Stone. The only beer they seem to sell in bombers is Dragon's Milk and Ruination 2.0. The ciders haven't moved at all, same with the locals. New Albanian just doesn't move the radar for people.

haven't paid as strict attention or noticed it so much with beer, but especially liquor, recent pricing has gotten way less favorable lately. many items are $5 or less savings than what K&L or in some instances a couple of bux higher than what TW lists the same. yesterday saw a new SN 4PK i'm not familiar with. curious is it really a value deal at $30? thoughts?

EDIT: oops. after looking at the picture just now, more carefully, i didn't realize the Big Foot in there apparently is the Barrel Aged iteration! :grimacing:

Jealous. No opportunity for where I live, CostCo(and grocery stores) aren't allowed to sell alcohol for the most part.

My understanding is Costco will not sell an item if another store can offer a lower price.

that may be their intention but there's loads of examples that statement is not factual.
