Lets be honest, if the Brothers are pouring some delicious members-only beer, it doesn't matter what color these things are.

Glad I went with the green though :-)

Does anyone happen to know what, if anything, is pouring on the members-only line? I know from the email a few weeks ago they were doing the fills of Resolute but I'm guessing this was on a public line. No word or update on what is flowing from "our" tap. Maybe there is a way to have the Member Only line appear on Trinkin when I pull up the taplist??

Anyone from a ways out of town who cannot make it down for Daylight Day (March 12th), Rocktown Beer & Music Festival was just announced for Apr 30th. Brothers and Pale Fire Brewing are the featured sponsors of the festival. That would be another great weekend to make the voyage to H'Burg

From one of Adam's posts over the weekend on the fb page it looked like 47 people did not place their Squealer order by Friday's 4pm deadline and will not be getting one. How that many people who paid for a membership can't even complete their first duty is beyond me. Hope no one following this thread was one of those.

Why don't they order a gray one for those people? Seems like less of a headache for the bros unless I am missing something. I am all for people who don't read and follow directions getting screwed over. But I wouldn't want to deal with the possible backlash.

Had to do with wanting an engaged group this year. From the sounds of it, last year there was a lot of merchandise sitting at the brewery that never got picked up.

Exactly what @njk82 said. It would be a headache for the Bros to order for those who did not place theirs in time and then sit on that item for months taking up space in their building. I like that they stuck to their guns and didn't place an order for those who did not take the time to do a 2 minute task. At the end of the day that's a good amount of money saved from not having to order. Probably well over $1,000 they could put towards another perk (extra beer or something else) later on in the year?

Were are all grown ups, if we cant follow simply guidelines to ordering something, Bros. Craft brewing shouldn't have to hold everyone's hands to make sure it gets done. Its not hard to read emails and follow directions, I think if Adam and crew had to wait for everyone to order them it would take focus off other things, such as getting beers out for the society.

Agree. But when it comes to customer service logic and common sense go out the window. It is never the customers fault it is always yours in their mind.

As long as they don't give my growler to an irate customer who missed the email I am fine with the decision. The bros are the ones that have to deal with it not me.

There was a lot of hand holding last year FTR...They consistently bent over backwards to accommodate people, this went on from January 1, 2015, and ran the course of the year. The bottom line is they don't have the space available to hold hundreds of bottles, and other items for people. I picked up another 8 trustees the month of December alone for folks that were out of the area and 2015 got away from them, and they couldn't make it to the brewery to pick up. The only thing I can do is to tell my currently 2016 trustees to READ THE DAMN EMAIL, and then act accordingly...so far, everyone has done that for 2016, I think.

Bros updated the site this morning with some details on Daylight Day. Daylight Cravings bottle release w/ Drunken Mornings (bottles too?). Looking forward to seeing what's in store for the tap lineup. What may be on the HS Only Tap as well as picking up my Squealer and at least the first member bottle by then.

Not sure how normal releases worked last year but are HS able to pre-order (non-HS) bottles for their releases.

Last year we were only able to pre-order HS beers. I bet that will carry over into this year as well.

That's what I was figuring. If they had space issues with HS beers I can only imagine the tight quarters, and how much would have been pre-ordered, if HS was also able to order other bottles.
