Mexican Brunch and Coconut ANTEAD kicked pretty early in EBF session 2, with Hop Lab Triple not far behind. From my non-scientific estimate, I wouldn't be surprised if Kane had one of the top 5 longest sustained lines during session 2. Congrats to Kane for pouring 3 world class beers at EBF (and 1460 isn't too shabby either).

I would like to see Kane create a membership similar to the Breurey's Preservation/Reserve/Hoarders society. I'm curious what everyone else's opinion is

I have been thinking the same thing for a while now. They listened to the masses about the lottery for ANTEAD, maybe there is hope for this aw well.

Had to google that. I would probably join for Kane depending on the price. You could join the Demented "demon"ship in the meantime.

    Sorry
This thread has become a general Kane thread.
The latest news on a new run of cans is
    "There is no news."

And that worked out well for them, everybody was happy...

If your standard is everyone's happiness, you may just want to exit beer now. There is no utopian solution with that standard in place.

However, Kane bending over backward and altering their sales strategy of ANTEAD no less than three times after consumer feedback is, quite literally, listening to the masses. In that sense, it did work out well for them.

It was the best situation to stop a disaster of a line forming for the release, I live 15 minutes from the brewery and was shut out, but it would have been worse if I spend 4 hours in the cold still to be shut out

Yea ANTEAD release was pretty perfect. I know it sucks people didn't get bottles but better to find out sitting at home behind your computer than after waiting in line for 4 hours. I'm 15 min from Kane as well, but especially if you'd driven any significant distance to wait in said line

I'm not a whale chaser, so I don't have to "exit beer now". There's plenty of beer out there for me to drink. Some of the stuff I drink you might even call "mediocre". oh well.

I love Kane and drink plenty of Head High, Single Fin and others that are more readily available and am happy.

Sorry, you missed the sarcasm. I guess I wasn't clear enough. I wasn't bitched up.

I was saying that in response to your comment about how they "listened to the masses" and went with a lottery and still had people flipping out on them. Basically, they're never going to make everyone happy.

Wasn't really sure where to ask this, but does anyone know the best bars/taplists in the West Orange area (hopefully with Kane on tap)?

Ha yea, I was creating monthly Kane threads but the fighting between people was insanely immature and became out of control and it was deleted so I gave up on it this month. But there really should be a general Kane thread. Maybe we can give it another shot.

Cloverleaf in West Caldwell is good, and fairly close to west orange.
Not sure how much Kane they have on tap currently though

As Troupos40 said, Cloverleaf in Caldwell is your best bet as Head High is always on tap there. Verona Inn has something from Kane on tap from time to time also.
You can also probably find Kane in Montclair at either The Office or Pig & Prince.
All places mentioned above are on the same street too (Bloomfield Ave) and a short drive from W.O.

It was hardly out of control. I was really surprised they deleted the whole January thread. Hop bomb mentioned the Silent Nights release, there was an argument with one person. No reason the whole monthly thread should have been deleted.

As for February, I'm anxiously awaiting Vengeful Heart.

if iso kane in SJ, irish mile normally has at least one offering and often 2-3, along with countless other NJ brews.... imo it's probably got the largest collection of NJ brews in all of the state.. no joke
