Hi-Res 2016 - distribution details, updates, changes & video

Well, it's listed as such. IIPA, DIPA, TIPA all pretty much the same thing.

 

Well, it's listed as DIPA, not Tripel. IIPA and DIPA are the same thing. Two different names. Just like Saison/Farmhouse Ale, Scotch Ale/Wee Heavy, Milk/Sweet Stout.

 

They mean Triple IPA ffs.

 

You're arguing with me, yet agreeing with me. Weird.

It is listed as a Triple IPA on Uptappd for what it's worth. But I fully understand that's no different than a DIPA or IIPA.

Hi-Res, The Crisp & Bengali landed in state a couple weeks ago. I must admit I was expecting more hop bitterness, and a little crisper/cleaner finish, from Hi-Res considering the IBUs and the fact that it's classified as a DIPA/TIPA depending on your source.

 

Still no Hi Res or C.R.E.A.M. here in Lancaster county... when will we see this?

 

Praise the Hop Gods!!! If you're in the north jersey area, specifically at Total Wine in Hackensack they have Hi-Res in stock..probably not for long

Finally here in the far NW burbs so it'll be in a glass tonight and the night cap will be my long awaited Hi-Bean

 

I'm quite interested to know how that turns out - please do post a review somewhere (here, WBAYDN...). Not like I can make one, I drank my last 4Beans months ago but I want to live vicariously!

 

Has this hit Northern Virginia yet? I'm hoping I haven't missed it. I loved last year's version and this year's sounds even better.

I highly recommend this mix, especially if you're into mixing and you love hoppy coffee stouts that hide any evidence of danger. Mix was about 60% Hi-Res 40% 4Beans, the Hi-Res stands up pretty well in the mix.
This is a definite do over for me

 

Finally my store got hi res for growler fills I hope cans of it and cream follow....

 

I just picked some up this morning and will have one later today.

 

Another week has passed here in the Philly suburbs and was just told Hi Res would not be released till next week...nothing like aging a good DIPA...

 

Fear not! Kegs have been released in/around Philly, and FRESH cans are arriving very soon, likely landing in Philly toward the end of next week (potential hiccups from winter storms always makes locking in specific delivery dates a crapshoot at this time of the year). Drink 'em up when you see 'em because they'll be super fresh!

 

We got C.R.E.A.M in a few weeks ago, only a couple cases, but I got mine...can't wait for Hi-Res to hit my shelves
