Great trade from Cali arrived, with some awesome hops! My second SoS for this weekend in Vegas! Woohoo



My local store had a 20% off sale last Saturday before the Super Bowl and they still had Cognac on the shelves so naturally I grabbed three and drank one when I got home. 19.99 each! Got some other stuff for trades as well.

 

Just did a massive phone dump of photos - thousands. I'd forgotten about this day, picked up some pretty damn good things. Still have the FW & one of the Better Halfs. That was the first Westy 12 I ever had. The last, too. Wonderful beer.

 

Grabbed a couple of Mikkeller Mosaic DIPAs - pricey but so good - all the others are new to me:
Pipework's Something Hoppy This Way Comes DIPA
Westbrook's Siberian Black Panther Magic imperial stout
And from behind the counter, a can of Grimm's Lambo Door DIPA...

Not my finest haul pic, but I'm off to a Utopia tasting. Never had Hopslam so I'm really, really (really, really, really) hoping it's worth the outrageous price tag. $25 a sixer is just a wee bit out there IMO. Anyway, rant over. Also picked up my staple: Tecate Light. Deviant Dales and Terrapin Mosaic singles also!

Growler holds Billy 18-Watt IPA from SingleCut Beersmiths.

 

Picked up some Sweetwater Hop Hash, Left Hand Hard Wired, Hopslam mini keg, and Sweetwater Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. Was pretty disappointed with Hard Wired given how great Milk Stout Nitro is.

 

Ohio trip this week went well

Yeah, I had one with my friend @Bogforce. We reviewed it on Youtube. I believe I said that I felt like the hop oil was stripping the enamel off my teeth.

 

Completely unexpected trip to TH with a friend of the wife. She wanted to get a a full allotment of hard to find beer for her husband as a thank you gift! Drove us early & stood in the bone chilling line while fighting a fever, for a full haul identical to mine. She won't even drink a drop of her haul my wife would never do tgat for me. If it was warm enough she'd consider muling some for m, but she'dbe drink a good bit.

Couple things I've picked up the past few weeks. Had the Knuckle Sandwich tonight. Ugh. Booze bomb and way too sweet. No idea why it's so highly rated.
