Well....all of Maine was part of Massachusetts up until 1820.

Not sure if it's still there, but the Hangar in Amherst had Bomb on tap last weekend. $10 for an 8 oz pour, but it is delicious.

A bunch of Prairie package came into the state last week for EBF. All sorts of package, and a few draft, all will start shipping tomorrow. Happy hunting...

If you're still hunting ... Fort Point Market next to Trillium dropped its Prairie allocation today at noon. Barrel Aged Bomb on the list, as well as regular Bomb, but BA Bomb was gone when I was there and regular Bomb was moving quickly...

    Best of luck!

I bought a BA Bomb last night at Liquor World. They had around 8 Prairie flavors in stock

@bostonwolf the CBC in Belmont has a bunch on shelves right now. According to the guys there, Prairie has been getting distributed here, technically, but the volume is incredibly low. Also a word of warning, they've got them at $12 a bottle or so and one bottle per beer per person limits. I believe Bomb! was $10, BA Bomb! $12.

This was Tuesday... and ironically also saw me buy a bottle of So Happens It's Tuesday.

The few others times I've seen/bought Bomb is was always $10, same price in San Francisco, New York, and Orlando. Nice change of pace that we're paying the same price as everyone, not seeing the usual MA markup.

Had the Bomb recently in CA ($9 bottle at bar to try). Bleh. I don't get it, a watery, boozy mess. If indicative of other beers, could definitely do without more of this brewery SKU's clogging shelves here in MA.

I bought Bomb in North Carolina for $9 a bottle so I can live with $10 here in MA

The BA version I just drank was rich, thick and not very boozy at all. Maybe a little sweet for me and heavy on the adjuncts but I see why people love it. I don't think you'll have to worry about the beer clogging up the shelves since it will probably sell out quick.

Their sour and funky stuff is pretty great, and I for one like the two or so Bomb!s I've had the chance to drink. It's been a while, and I've had a ton of great stouts in the interim, but I did enjoy it quite a bit. Really, if it clogs up the shelves, it'll be because a 12oz bottle of it for almost the same price as a big bomber of the other great imperial stouts we have access to.

LOL at Prairie bottles "clogging shelves." Pretty sure it would fly off shelves.

Bomb! I can pass on at the price, but Vanilla Noir.........if that shows up in MA, I'll be making the border crossing far more often.

Well, their bottles at CBC Belmont have stuck around a bit... I think they've sold through this week's allotment of Night Shift cans and all their Wicked Weed faster than any of the Prairie stuff. Except BA Bomb! That blew through fast.

I see Prairie in kind of a similar light to Lost Abbey; very good beers, very expensive on a per-bottle basis for little bottles, and if they're regularly available, they'll sit on the shelves, aside from the hot, in-demand beers. Similar to MBC, too, unfortunately - Lunch and Another One fly off the shelves, in large part because they're rarely available, but a lot of MBC's stuff sits there because it's expensive and not the "hot" Maine brew.

Depends on the beer. Praire Ale will sit. I saw it tonight. Also saw BA Bomb and Brett C. They were also sitting. But Im sure they will go. Flying off seems a little agressive of a statement.

I couldn't find BA Bomb anywhere! I tried a Prairie Ale last night for the first time, thought it was pretty prettay good.

Future-Wife snagged me a bottle of Bomb on Friday from Spirit Haus in Hadley, really tasty beer that! Sticker said $10.95 on it, so definitely a 'once in awhile' beer for us. Cheers!
