Brett Loves Citra is definitely in the same realm concept-wise as Hop Savant (Brett IPA showcasing a particular hop). I can't imagine Troy ever doing a strictly clean IPA (no brett/bugs/bacteria) though just based on what he's said in the past about focusing on barreling/blending. The fact is, he would need a whole separate facility as his current location is rife with wild yeast and it would be incredibly difficult to prevent cross contamination to a strictly saccharomyces beer.

Are we likely to ever see Biere de Garde again? I know it was a quasi-collab with Aspen Brewing, but man was that beer special. Easily my favorite Casey.

Yes. It's been Brewed, but will no longer be a collab this time around.

I love his hoppy beers, basically all of his beers. I just know he enjoys a good IPA and think he could make a killer one if he wanted to....

Agree with this, though I wonder if he brews it at another facility. He's sending his guy to Comrade for a month, right?

    Wishful thinking on my part.

BdG is still my favorite beer he has made to date...or at least top 2 depending on my mood. Very much looking forward to that one returning.
The idea of making some clean beers (at least a few) could be fun. He doesn't really have a brewery and I'd imagine he wouldn't store them with the others, so it would probably have to be someone else's beer.

They could also "borrow" tank space at Roaring Fork where the wort is brewed. IPAs could be brewed, fermented and kegged entirely away from the Brett factory.

Or you know, this could have everything to do with the fact that they're going to start kegging... Is anyone excited for that??

Did you have it from the bottle? If so, how does it compare? I drank opened one of my bottles the night it was released and thought it was absolutely phenomenal.

Hey guys, I have a friend in Denver who can pick me up some beer. He already got me some Crooked Stave, and now I am wondering if there's a place where he will be able to get me some Casey. I have never tried it before; could you guys please let me know of a shop or place where I would be most likely to get it? I would be much obliged!

Won't be able to get Casey around town. Do yourself a favor and have him grab some Superfan or Noob from Odd13. La Cumbre Elevated is also on shelves.

You mean at the brewery? Will see if I can!

What's my best bet at scoring Casey around, if not in mainland Denver?

    Thanks!

He'll need to get a ticket and go to the March bottle release. In Glenwood Springs.

Basecamp Liquor in Frisco had bottles of wet hopped low end last time I was there. That was almost a month ago though and it's a good 2 hr drive from Denver. Temper your expectations...
